Chapter 96: All Kinds of Bizarre Attributes

"What in the world is going on?!"

The scene before him left Lance completely dumbfounded. Wasn't that longsword supposed to unleash sword aura?

Why was there no sword aura? And why did it launch the Hammer instead?

Everyone else was equally stunned.

Hammer, who had been flung by the longsword, flew out at an incredible speed, shooting over a hundred meters away in just seconds.

Once it reached a certain distance, Hammer suddenly stopped midair, then began descending. Eventually, Hammer stepped on air using Geppo to fly himself back.

Landing, Hammer looked terrified. He immediately tossed the longsword aside and hurriedly put on a pair of gauntlets.

"It's not over yet. Check this out..."

Wearing the gauntlets, Hammer casually picked up a fist-sized rock and punched it, shouting:

"Turn into Lance!"

Lance: "?????"

In the next second, the punched rock began to tremble as fragments flaked off. Within moments, a palm-sized figurine vaguely resembling Lance appeared.

Only... the figurine was extremely crude and barely looked like him, just vaguely human-shaped.

So, how did they know it was supposed to be Lance? Well, once Hammer turned it around, everyone understood.

On its back, the word "Lance" had been carved into it...

"Wait, what happened to the 'windbreaker punch'?"

"How did this turn into sculpture work instead?"

Everyone was even more confused. Hammer himself looked totally dejected.

He had checked his ability panel many times. It displayed:

Special Skill: Critical Crafting (Fully Unlocked!)

'Fully unlocked? What the heck does that mean?! Like anything can happen now?'

'Was this function always there? Or did it only appear after developing the fruit further?'

He had asked many times, but it had long gone silent, with no response. Left with no choice, Hammer experimented for a while. Out of all the weapons he crafted recently, only one retained its original attribute; the rest all went completely haywire.

Standard Longsword: Launch power – when swung in one direction, it can send a person flying 100 meters.

Gauntlets: Sculpting Gauntlets – can reshape objects.

Staff: Shatters in one hit - not the target, but itself! Can you believe that?!

Trident: Costume Trigger - holding it triggers a transformation: crown, cape, armor... the whole package.

Hammer had thought it might be the armor of an Aquaman-style armor at first, feeling excited about the golden crown and armor. But then he realized... he doesn't wear capes.

In the end, wielding the trident transformed him instantly.

Yellow shirt, blue pants, white collar. The look was absurdly odd.

'Wait a minute... isn't this the outfit from those old primary school textbooks?! Like the one that guy Runtu wore?!'

Hammer almost went insane.

"Brother... maybe it's only the weapons that are acting weird?"

"What if it's something like... clothing?"

Shirley, now fully dressed like Runtu, fell into deep thought and voiced her suspicion.

Hearing this, Hammer's glasses suddenly gleamed with excitement. He bolted straight back to the forge.

DUANG!"

The sound of hammering rang out again, leaving behind a bunch of confused people and a pile of weird weapons.

"This thing really makes you fly?"

"Oh my god, I'm flying! Aaaaaah, wait, no! I'm falling! Help!"

A marine, not believing the sword's ability, swung it and took off, only to plunge into the sea after a hundred meters.

The deck instantly fell silent.

Then Shirley snapped out of it first.

"What are you waiting for?! Save him!"

...

"Fleet Admiral Kong, may your battles be glorious!"

Watching Kong lead the fleet out to sea, Sengoku was full of respect.

Meanwhile, Kong himself looked very pleased as he boarded the warship.

"Next stop, the New World! Let's go!"

In the days that followed, Hammer stayed locked in the forge, forging nonstop.

The others spent their time figuring out the bizarre properties of each weapon and were now having a blast.

The deck was now full of sculptures: large ones of dogs and cats, smaller ones of bugs.

From time to time, a soldier would suddenly launch into the air, only to crash into the sea. But now, they all wore life vests.

Lance also started holding "Lance's Mini Lessons" on the deck, teaching the soldiers one of the Marine Six Style: Geppo. (With Hammer's permission, of course.)

After all, if you're using a flying sword and don't know how to fly yourself, you're one fall away from death!

Just as everyone was happily messing around, a wild, excited howl echoed.

Hammer burst onto the deck.

His appearance was ridiculous, face covered in black soot, but his eyes sparkled with excitement.

"Shirley! It worked! IT WORKED!! Hahahaha!"

Seeing him act like a maniac, Shirley discreetly took a step back.

"What worked?" Lance asked curiously, eyeing the large bundle in Hammer's hands.

"Hehehe..."

Hammer giggled and opened the bundle. Inside were clothes, boots, and accessories.

He picked up a hat and said excitedly:

"This hat used to make you invisible, right?"

Everyone nodded.

Then Hammer slapped the hat onto Lance's head.

Picking up a cleaver, he walked toward Lance with a creepy grin.

"Whoa! Hammer! Bro! Buddy! What are you doing?!"

"Also, why can't I move my damn legs?!"

Lance screamed in terror, while everyone else looked on in confusion.

He was waving his arms around, but his legs stood frozen stiff.

"Hehehe... the invisibility effect is gone. But it gained a new ability, Leg Lock!"

"Once you wear it, your legs are immobilized!"

"Ahahahaha!!"

Hammer laughed maniacally and then draped a cloak over Lance, removing the hat.

"What are you standing there for? Wave the cloak. Get it? Wave it."

"No? Then grab a corner and flick it toward the ocean, that'll work."

"Hey! Not at me! Toward the sea!"

Still confused, Lance followed Hammer's instructions and flicked the cloak toward the sea.

In the next second, several sharp energy blades shot out, slicing cleanly across the surface of the ocean.

Lance: !???

Everyone: !???

Hammer: AHAHAHAHA!!
