Chapter 4- The shabby library

"Dismiss, everybody, Diana, my office now!", Principal K said her face drenched with fury and anger, it also gave a sense of second thought in people's minds, after some minutes the whole hall was empty, Principal K, walked down to her office, and sat on her chair, she was angry, a knock landed on her large door, as her assistant opened it wide, standing before her was Diana Oscar, as she walked with all glory to her desk, staring at each other, there was a silence in the air, "have a seat, lady" she said trying to calm her tone down, "thank you" Diana replied while sitting down.

"Well, well, well…. Gerald gives us a while", she said, as she excused her assistant out of the room. After a second, the door closed. "Diana Oscar, the biggest threat of Eri-doria high school", Diana chuckled, then added, "Why would you say that?" Diana said, "and also why is Damien here, that wasn't part of the plan", Diana asked with a raised eyebrow, "well, that's for later, it's pretty good as he's around, it adds up all my plan, but don't worry I have someone installed to watch him out" Principal K said and smiled evilly, "really, what plan?" Diana's curiosity was questioned. But she said nothing but left a dark smile on her lips.

 "Hey Damien, how are you doing?" Elizabeth asked, as she bumped into Damien and Brian walking towards the hostel, "Hi Brian," she said dully. Damien noticed the faint facial expression on both faces. "Is something wrong?" he asked, "nahh" Brian said with a flawless look, without sparing a glance at her, "so Damien you said you're going to visit that shabby library soon?" she said, "yeah about that, wait, who's that girl that claimed to be Diana Oscar, she has the same surname as mine" Damien asked his mind was still reeling on that event, "oh, Diana, you will get to know her soon" she added, Brian, giving her a stern look. His mind wasn't just at rest, he needed to find out who she was as soon as possible.

The three of them stood in front of the old library, their eyes fixed on the door, and they walked in, the whole place was very silent, they were probably the only person in that place at the moment, "seems the librarian isn't in at the moment" Brian suggested, "yh I guess so too" Damien added, as they looked round the tall shelf that was stacked with different magical books, old news, and other things. Damien kept on looking at a particular shelf, sliding his finger across all the books, just as his finger touched a book, he felt a spark on his finger, a sudden little shock, "ahh" he exclaimed, "what happened Damien" Elizabeth said from the other side of the shelf, "nothing much" he replied, bring out the book, he held it, it was a bit heavy, dropping the book on a large table, "guys come take a look" Damien said staring at the book, "wow, this looks big" Brian said, his eyes opened and fixed on the book in front of them, the front cover page was blank, "what could be the name?" Damien curiosity was high, "open it up", Brian suggested, just as he opened the cover to reveal the name, he only had a glimpse, before the book was suddenly shut closed, turning around to see who had closed the book, stood an elderly man dressed quite shabby though, "don't open this book again" his words were cold like ice in their ear, as he picked the book up with ease and returned it to the shelf, just then he wasn't there anymore, "he isn't here, and the book isn't here again" Damien went back there after some minutes, "that's weird," Brian said, "let's just leave before Principal K sees us, she always on patrol any time of the day", Elizabeth said jokingly, while they exited the shabby library, the outside looked shabby and old, just like Elizabeth's great-grandmother age, but the inside décor, was one of a kind to behold. Damien thought for a while in his mind before they exited the building.
