.....

"This is…"

"How is this possible?!"

Harpas's eyes bulged, his face twisted with disbelief, mouth agape to the extreme.

"Didn't Morax die?!"

He couldn't accept what he was seeing. His body trembled, as if on the verge of collapse.

But what terrified Harpas the most was the overwhelming sense of danger radiating from that golden light!

A suffocating fear surged in his chest. The arrogant confidence he once bore had completely vanished, replaced by utter shock and chaos.

Osial and Baqiu were no better—both stood frozen in place, stunned by the sudden turn of events.

Osial's five heads each wore a different expression—shock, confusion, rage—making it look almost comical. Baqiu, on the other hand, stared at the golden radiance in horror, as if witnessing its worst nightmare.

Ningguang gently touched the Mora she always carried close to her.

Feeling its familiar warmth, a comforting tide rose in her chest.

She smiled softly.

"Thank you…"

Paimon flew out from Lumine's arms, clapping her hands in excitement as she stared at the golden spectacle blanketing Liyue Harbor.

"Wow, so amazing!"

Her eyes sparkled with joy and wonder, as if she'd stumbled upon a whole new world.

Then she noticed the glowing Mora in her hands and gasped.

"So… so strong! Is that Shajin?!"

Lumine held the Mora tightly, a gentle smile tugging at her lips.

'Honestly, Shajin… I owe you one again~'

Keqing and Ganyu exchanged glances, their golden-lit Mora casting a glow between them. Then they both turned their eyes away.

Shenhe clutched her Mora to her chest, golden light spilling through her fingers.

"Benefactor… is that you?"

"This aura… identical to that one back then." Cloud Retainer said.

"What an unbelievable power this is…"

——

Harpas studied the barrier carefully. It did resemble Morax's Shield…

But it lacked the presence of Geo entirely. Instead, it was made of some unknown material.

This couldn't be Morax's doing.

His tension eased slightly, but he didn't lower his guard. An unseen enemy was the most dangerous kind—and anyone who could cause such a phenomenon was no ordinary foe.

He roared furiously.

"Who is it?!"

"I'd say… you're looking for me, Demon God of Dreams."

A man's voice rang out from behind Harpas.

Paimon pointed.

"Look! It's Shajin!!!"

The man stood out with his golden hair and pink sunglasses.

Harpas flinched. His expression changed drastically as he whipped around, thrusting his weapon behind him with brutal force.

No holding back—this strike was far from a joke. He poured his full power into it.

The Authority of Nightmare surged forth, aiming to drag the man into a hellish dream.

But it was useless.

"How pathetic. You really don't understand the gap between us, do you~?"

Shajin's voice came from behind, thick with scorn.

Harpas was horrified—Shajin was completely unaffected by the Nightmare domain, as if it had no effect on him whatsoever.

Despair welled up in his heart. This human… might be stronger than Morax himself.

Suddenly, Shajin moved.

His gloved right hand lashed out like lightning, gripping Harpas's throat.

Harpas struggled, but couldn't break free.

"Demon God of Dreams—Harpas, is it?" Shajin's face twisted into a crazed grin, his eyes gleaming with cruelty.

"Now let's see… who's the real insect?!"

With a growl, Shajin squeezed.

Crack!

Harpas's neck snapped instantly.

Paimon cried out.

"That was it?! He's done for?!"

Xiao shook his head.

"Killing Harpas isn't that simple."

He knew all too well how tenacious the demon was—he had once served under Harpas himself.

As expected…

A cloud of purple mist emerged, then slowly faded, revealing Harpas once more.

"Huff… damn it… is this all my weakened form can manage?"

Fear lingered in Harpas's eyes.

This human… felt even more powerful than Morax.

"Impossible…"

He clenched his teeth and shouted toward the sea.

"Osial! Baqiu! Stop standing around like idiots!"

"If we don't work together, we're all going to die here!"

Osial and Baqiu exchanged a look, both seeing the same shock in each other's eyes.

Where did this human come from?

And how did he force Harpas into using his emergency resurrection so quickly?

He must not be allowed to live!

The two ancient beings unleashed torrents from their mouths, merging their waters into a devastating tidal force.

Lumine cried out, "Watch out!"

Shajin removed his sunglasses.

"It's not as fun as in my prime… but it'll do for blowing off some steam~" Harpas sneered as he watched.

"Heh… still human in the end. Did I scare him senseless or—huh?!"

A die had appeared in Harpas's palm.

The top face bore the symbol of a black spade.

Then Shajin's voice echoed, and his Vision—its peacock-blue Geo glow—flared violently.

"Weak men don't take gambles."

"I bet."

"I wager."

"I win."

Harpas suddenly realized what was happening.

"No!!"

Shajin raised his right index finger.

"For your downfall, I shall prepare a grand finale."

"The stage is set."

"Everyone—dance with me!"

He tossed the Mora high into the air…

Caught it again.

"I command the wheel of fate."

"All in."

"From death, I rise."

His right finger slashed through the oncoming torrent.

A mask shaped like a black spade formed over his face, and parts of his body were clad in peacock-blue armor.

"All shall be offered to…"

"The Lord of Amber!"

"The Gambler" Adventurine—

Has descended.
