Chapter 135: The Seven Harbingers

Lumine's eyes widened as she rubbed them in disbelief.

"Shajin, Snezhnaya… are they planning to go to war with Inazuma?!"

This was the first time Lumine had ever seen the might of the nation reputed to be the strongest of the Seven—Snezhnaya—on full display.

Paimon began counting with her fingers.

"One Harbinger, two Harbingers, three Harbingers… Th-that's so many Harbingers!"

As the Plane of Euthymia opened up, Raiden Ei's consciousness returned to the Raiden Shogun's body.

They reappeared within Tenshukaku, though the floor they were on had long since been blown open by a gaping hole.

The Raiden Shogun—or rather, Raiden Ei—stood upon the sea wielding Musou Isshin, a massive curtain of lightning shielding Inazuma behind her.

Thunder roared endlessly across the skies.

"Hah, I knew that Gambler was up to no good."

"Eh?!"

Lumine turned and was shocked to see Yae Miko standing right next to her.

Yae Miko smirked playfully.

"Ufufu~ Surprised? I told you Miss Fox might come crawling out of that charm, didn't I~?"

Lumine couldn't help but retort.

"Are you using me as a spawn point or something?!"

Yae Miko shrugged casually.

"I was planning to enter the Plane of Euthymia myself, but didn't expect the Gamble to rip it open directly."

"Still, the damage to the Plane of Euthymia means a fissure has been torn into Ei's heart. What comes next should be quite the spectacle."

"Let's just hope Snezhnaya… holds back a little…"

"What… what is that?!"

Kujou Takayuki, standing at the front lines of the Shogunate army, stared blankly at the enormous warships on the sea—and the massive "dragons" soaring through the skies.

Such armaments were completely unheard of.

Many Shogunate soldiers trembled, their spears slipping from numb fingers.

Including Signora still inside Tenshukaku, there were now seven Harbingers gathered in Inazuma—more than half of Snezhnaya's elite.

There was no way this was anything good.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa… this is insane."

Far off in the waters, Beidou stood at the bow of The Crux, peering through her telescope.

She couldn't help clicking her tongue.

"That iron tide… even we'd be wiped out in a single clash…"

"Snezhnaya! Are you declaring war on Inazuma?!"

The thick braid behind Raiden Ei's head sparked with violet light.

Behind her, the Chakra Desiderata lit up—all the "eyes" opened wide, one by one activating glowing Electro sigils.

On the head of the mechanical dragon, Shajin stared down at Ei. For some reason, just looking at her face irritated him to no end.

"Inazuma, a mere island nation, has grown even more impoverished under your Isolation Decree. Your people are starving, desperate."

He grinned.

"Of course we're here to open your borders… for the good of your citizens, naturally~"

Raiden Ei narrowed her eyes.

"Such nonsense. You speak of war like it's a child's game."

Shajin shrugged.

"How rich, coming from you. Isn't your Shogunate army locked in war with Watatsumi Island?"

"Oh right," he added with a smirk, "but a few dozen people fighting—maybe we should call that a village brawl instead~"

"You court death!"

With a shout of fury, Raiden Ei's figure shot forward like lightning, hurtling toward Snezhnaya's fleet.

Her blade slashed down in a single arc, unleashing a terrifying wave of Electro-charged sword energy. The sheer force of it seemed to rip the heavens apart.

The blade energy split the sea with a deafening boom, forming two massive walls of water, each dozens of meters high. But to everyone's astonishment, the Snezhnayan warships remained untouched.

They were protected by the same golden barrier from before—Jade Shields, shimmering in the air.

Despite their delicate appearance, these shields had withstood Ei's devastating strike without a scratch.

Raiden Ei frowned slightly, her gaze shifting toward the sky.

High above floated Shajin, his right hand glowing with dazzling brilliance.

She understood—unless she removed this obstacle, she couldn't deal any real damage to the fleet.

Raising her head, she looked coldly at Shajin.

"Looks like I'll need to take you down first."

Beneath the spade-shaped mask, Shajin's grin only widened.

He burst into laughter. "Hahaha… Come then, God of Thunder!"

As he spoke, he gripped a shimmering Mora in one veiny hand, his fingers expertly spinning the coin.

The little coin danced nimbly through his fingers, flipping up, down, left, and right.

Then, in one abrupt moment, his hand froze—and the Mora stopped spinning midair.

His eyes narrowed, a glint of cunning flashing within them.

Then, with a flick of his thumb, he snapped the coin.

In an instant, that small Mora shot forth like a cannon shell, blazing like a silver comet as it rocketed toward Raiden Ei.

But she remained calm.

With a light step to the side, she vanished from its path, easily dodging the high-speed projectile.

At the same time, she swung her blade, generating a fierce gust of wind.

With a flourish of her arm, several dazzling arcs of sword energy burst forth, each one roaring toward her enemies like furious whirlwinds.

Wherever they passed, the air split open with screeching booms—an overwhelming show of force.

Shajin twirled both hands, summoning a massive golden shield in front of him.

The sword energy struck it with deafening clangs, sending sparks flying.

Ei dashed forward like a thunderbolt, her blade glowing with power—each swing a demonstration of martial perfection.

Shajin, however, remained composed. He deftly evaded her attacks, hurling Mora after Mora in quick succession, each one forming a golden beam of light that shot toward Ei.

He sidestepped her blade, then flung out several more Mora.

They spun rapidly through the air like deadly saw blades, slicing toward her.

Ei parried them one after another, slashing them out of the air with precision.

Then, in a flash, she closed the distance—her sword raised high.

With a roar of thunder, she brought it down in a mighty slash.

The strike surged with divine lightning, embodying the full might of the Electro Archon.
