One quiet night in Lumora Magica, Luna looked up at the glowing moon. It lit the sky like a lantern, soft and comforting. She sat on a hill beside Prince Arin. A cool breeze rustled the leaves. Gently, she whispered, "I miss my father."
Prince Arin smiled, warm and understanding. "The magic pen still connects you to him. Write him a message."
Luna took out the glowing pen. Its light shimmered softly in her hand. She wrote carefully, her heart full of love:
"I am safe, Dad. This world is more beautiful than I ever imagined. I'll return soon. Thank you for believing in me."
As soon as she finished, the pen glowed brighter. Far away, in the Kingdom of Brightvale, Minister Tom stood near his window. He held the same magical glow in his hands, and when he saw it, he smiled. He knew Luna was safe.
But back in the kingdom, something had started to stir.
Grub, the greedy man who had once tried to steal the pen, was not done. His heart still burned with jealousy. He began gathering people again, whispering lies.
"They are hiding the magic!" he shouted in the town square. "They want power! They stole the magic for themselves!"
At first, people didn't listen. But slowly, a few began to doubt. They looked at Minister Tom with new eyes. Some wondered: Where is his daughter? Why hasn't she returned?
The seed of suspicion began to grow.
Back in Lumora Magica, a soft flutter broke the quiet. Tiara, the wise butterfly, flew down and landed on a nearby flower. She looked at Prince Arin and said in a gentle voice, "Darkness is rising in the kingdom."
Arin turned to Luna. His face was calm, but there was worry in his eyes. "It's time," he said. "The kingdom needs you now more than ever."
Luna looked back at him. She saw the concern in his expression. Then, he added more softly, "There's something I must tell you. Something I should've said earlier."
She nodded, listening.
He took a deep breath. "Once someone enters this magical world, there's always a risk. The magic here is strong. If not handled carefully, it can harm people… or even cause death when they return to their own world."
Luna blinked, surprised. "But nothing happened to my father when I used the magic. And even when you first created it, it didn't harm him either. So why are you so worried now?"
Prince Arin looked into the distance, then back at her. "Because those who trust you completely… those who stay by your side and understand you deeply… are protected. Your father believed in me with all his heart. That's why he was never harmed."
There was silence between them for a moment. Then Luna asked the question that had been quietly sitting in her heart.
"Then why did the King and Queen disappeared?"
Prince Arin's eyes softened. His voice was quiet. "The truth is… they were my parents. My own blood. But they never truly spent time with me. They never tried to understand me. Yes, they trusted me—as parents often do—but they didn't understand me. And that's what made the difference."
He looked down, the memory heavy in his voice. "Your father, Tom, truly understood me. His trust was built on connection, not just duty."
He sighed and continued, "So I fear that if you return to the kingdom now, even though your father may be safe, the magic might affect others who don't share that bond with you. Seeing you might awaken effects that could harm them… even fatally."
Luna listened quietly. The wind moved gently around them.
Arin looked at her again. "I've worked on finding a solution for many years… but I haven't found one yet. That's why I ask you to stay here with me for now. Help me. Together, we might discover a safe way."
He reached out gently. "Send a message to your father. Ask him to take care of the kingdom until we return."
Luna paused, thinking. Then she nodded. She picked up the glowing pen again and wrote:
"Dad, I must stay a while longer. There is danger, and I want to make sure the magic is safe for everyone. Please take care of Brightvale until I return. See you soon, Dad."
The pen glowed again and flew off into the night sky, carrying her message.
From that day onward, Luna and Prince Arin worked side by side in Lumora Magica. They explored ancient spells, looked deep into the roots of magic, and searched for ways to make it safe for everyone—especially those who did not understand it yet.
They learned from old scrolls, hidden temples, and glowing stones deep in the forest. Tiara often joined them, guiding them to places where secrets were kept safe by time.
Luna was strong, thoughtful, and brave. She asked questions, tested spells carefully, and worked late into the nights. Arin admired her patience and spirit. He shared stories of the past—both the beautiful and the painful—and together they built trust that grew stronger each day.
Back in Brightvale, time passed.
People grew curious about the Minister's daughter. They whispered in the markets and near the palace gates.
"Where is Luna?" they asked. "Why hasn't she returned?"
Minister Tom stood tall and calm. When asked, he smiled gently and said, "She has gone abroad to study."
Some people believed him. They nodded and said, "She's always been a bright girl. Of course she would go far to learn."
But others still had their doubts. The whispers of Grub still lingered in their minds. He continued to stir trouble, saying, "She left with the Prince to hide magic. Why else would she be gone so long?"
Still, Tom remained steady. He trusted his daughter. He trusted Prince Arin. And deep inside, he knew they were doing something important—something that would one day bring peace not only to Brightvale, but to the world beyond.
And so, in the heart of Lumora Magica, where rivers shimmered like silver and the air hummed with enchantment, Luna and Arin continued their journey—bound by purpose, hope, and the quiet promise that one day, magic would no longer be a danger… but a gift for all who believed, understood, and loved.
