Pretty Lies And Silent Plans.

The next day , Luna woke up with the events of the previous day still latched onto her mind like leeches.

She needs to device a plan on how to work out her revenge now that she has seen a shortcut but what she doesn't know is that the shortcut is actually a long road filled with dangerous hurdles.

She plans on using Lucien to achieve her plan, according to her, she will get close to him, earn his trust or rather make him fall for her, while secretly gathering his family's secrets till she blows the whistle.

She chose not to think about what will happen to her if her plans gets jeopardized along the run , she's just willing to give it her all even if it kills her , then she'll happily join her beloved brother in the after life.

But before that, she needs to find a way to infiltrate Lucien's world, she doesn't know how to do it but she knows she will do it.

If only she knew who he was yesterday at the book store, she wouldn't have misused that golden opportunity, she could only hope for him to visit the book store again today but part of her knew it wasn't possible as the yesterday event was merely a coincidence.

She pushed the negative thoughts at the back of her mind and proceeded to start her day.

She made sure to put on a nice outfit just in case she runs into him hoping to make a good impression, she styled her hair into a messy bun that outlined her perfectly crafted face , she looked at her reflection in the mirror and nodded in satisfaction, she knows she's a very beautiful lady, perfect height for a lady, deep ocean eyes, spotless skin, infact her beauty is ethereal, she could easily pass on as a model but no , she has already chosen her career path which is her mission of revenge.

She decided to focus her twenties into her revenge plan in order to achieve her goals early enough.

At the bookstore, Luna's was extremely vigilant , whenever the jingles of the entrance bell is heard, her eyes will immediately glance at the entrance to know whether they're who she's expecting, but she's always disappointed each time as none of them matched his description not to talk of being him .

Luna still spent her time in anticipation till the end of her shift but he never showed up . it's like he was erased from this earth after their encounter the day before.

Luna sighed hopelessly and left for her house.

She decided to take a walk back to her house as to collect her thoughts despite the long distance of the bookstore to her house, she doesn't mind.

She was walking slowly on the side walk still thinking of what to do as her plan failed today.

She started calculating her chances of meeting him at places she could meet him, she could only think of two means, it's either she starts working at his family house as a maid or she applies for internship in his company.

No matter how she looks at it, they both seem like difficult methods, working at his house would mean seeing his parents everyday which she knew she wouldn't be able to bear, if not , she might be pushed to drive a knife into the heart of one of them one day , yes that's how much she despises the Roths .

On the other hand, if she's to apply for internship in his company, she wouldn't be able to meet him because he's the CEO , only the department heads are likely to meet him so she knows that for her to be able to get in touch with him from the company, she must be his secretary but she knows that won't be possible for her to achieve .

Her mind is conflicted at this point, she needs to choose between the two options.

Working as his family's maid will bring her closer to him but it will also drain her emotionally, she wouldn't be able to bear it while she's also not likely to interact with him at all if she chooses to work in his company.

'this won't do, I need to make a choice before nightfall, I need to act fast' this she thought as she focused on her way home.

She didn't bother making dinner when she got home because she doesn't have the appetite when she got pressing issues to attend to, according to her , there's no time to be hungry when there's a whole world war going on in her mind, she just freshened up and sat down on her bed , fiddling with her phone while still thinking of the best decision to make.

After weighing the pros and cons of each option, she decided to go with the first plan , which is to work as a maid in the Roth's family house, she decided to surpress her emotions and focus on her plans.

Now that she has decided on the step to take, she's faced with another problem, how she's going to enter their house and start working is what she doesn't know, she doesn't even know where the Roth's family house is located.

Even if she knows, how's she going to apply and start working as their maid, clearly they wouldn't accept just anyone as they're known for their high levels of security .For her to get in, she'll need the help of someone from the inside to direct her to the place and also help her with her plan.

Great! Just when her plan is starting to feel get together, another problem comes right up .

Luna dropped down on her bed in a tired mode like all strength has left her body.

One minute, two, three , four passed then _ Bam! She sat up straight with speed,

"Ah!!! She screamed happily, just when she thought all hope is lost, the heavens is with her after all , she smiled .

She had suddenly remembered that her distant aunt once mentioned she started working for the Roths during one of her visits few years ago, she was so glad , there's light at the end of the tunnel after all .

Now she only have to call her mum and have her send her aunt's contact.

Beep, beep, on the third ring , the voice of Mrs Sterling was heard on the phone.

"Luna Honey , how have you been? it's been long since the last time you called, I'm so glad to hear from you now"_ Luna suddenly felt guilty, she had been ignoring her poor mum for awhile now and only called her just because she needs something from her , she became lost in thought, making up her mind to visit her soon.

"Honey are you there?hello...

"Mum look I'm sorry I haven't been able to visit you, I've been busy with something for awhile now, I'll make it up to you, i promise " She could hear her mum sigh.

" okay if you say so , hoping to see you soon"

She thought of how she's going to request for her aunt's contact from her mother, she doesn't know what to tell her when she asks for the reason why she needs it.

"Mum please I need your help with something, can you send me Aunt Jane's contact?" she mustered up the courage and asked.

To her greatest dismay, her mother didn't ask her the reason for that, maybe she's leaving it for when she will visit her.

They ended the call and she received a message from her mother few minutes later, she has sent her aunt's contact.

She looked at the unfamiliar number on the screen, fate sure has a way to play with people.

She dialed the number on the screen,

"Hi aunt Jane , this is Luna speaking " her aunt was shocked to hear her voice, she couldn't believe Luna would call her one day, so she made up her mind to help her with anything she asked for provided they're within her capacity.

When Luna requested for the direction to the Roth's house after confirming that her aunt works there, she didn't relay the real reason for her request, she was afraid her aunt would disagree with her, or worst tell her mother about it ,she just couldn't risk it, so she only lied to her aunt that she will be going to deliver some books to the Roths and thus needs direction.

Her aunt agreed with her and sent her the directions, they spoke for a while before she ended the call.

Looking at the three lines of sentences on her screen which are the directions her aunt gave her , she heaved a sigh of relief and smiled.

Everything's all set at last , now she can comfortably move on to the second phase of her plan .

She went to the refrigerator and drank some chilled water after which she went back to bed .

She needs to sleep early so as to be able to wake up early and arrive on time and she must get her plans for tomorrow to work.

Nothing can stop her now, tomorrow she will be meeting the lions in their den.
