Echo City never forgets. Every street, every building, every object holds memories—whispers of the past that linger in stone and steel, waiting to be heard with a single touch. The city is an archive of everything that has ever been.
Until the echoes begin to vanish.
Ezra Vance, a seasoned memory-keeper, knows the past should be immutable. But when entire lifetimes are erased—wiped clean as if they never existed—he is forced to confront an impossible truth: someone isn’t just erasing history. They’re rewriting it.
Mara Finch is the only person who remembers her husband after his murder. But as she searches for answers, she discovers a far more terrifying possibility—she may be next.
As memories unravel and false histories take their place, Ezra and Mara must race against time to uncover the forces manipulating reality itself. Because in a city where history can be rewritten, the truth is as fragile as a fading echo.
And if they fail?
They, too, will disappear.
Echo City: A City That Remembers is a gripping fusion of mystery, urban fantasy, and psychological suspense that will leave you questioning what it truly means to remember.
Great Worldbuilding and Characters – Just Hoping for More Consistent Updates. Loving this story so far! The worldbuilding is super detailed and feels really alive, and the characters have actual depth and development—not just cookie-cutter personalities. The plot has a fresh feel to it too, which is a nice change from the usual stuff. You can tell the author put a lot of thought into everything, and it pays off big time. My only (small) gripe is the update schedule—it can be a bit inconsistent. I get that good writing takes time, though, so I’m sticking with it! Definitely recommend giving this one a shot if you’re into well-built worlds and character-driven stories.
