“We are getting rid of Carmen.” I smiled confidently. 


“Wait, are you sure?” Emily asked, looking both confused and concerned. 


“Of course. It’s simple. You’ll fire her and tell her your partner and you hand coms to a conclusion." I said smoothly. 


“Besides, I was planning on working over the vacation anyway.” 


“Miss… are you serious? I can't just make rash decisions,” she asked again, clearly not ready for the storm I was about to bring. 


I took a deep breath, trying to calm my adrenaline rush before I said something I might regret. 


Still, I couldn’t hold back. “Since my mom wanted me to work there, that technically makes me your partner. Please do everything you do to get rid of her.” 


She nodded slowly and walked out of the room. 


I pinched the bridge of my nose and took my glasses off. 


“You’re cute without your glasses,” Jayden whispered with a smirk. I must admit he enjoys looking at me. 


I chuckled and climbed on top of him, enjoying the moment.
