“Mama doesn’t know,” Megan answered honestly. 


“Lynn’s just being possessive again,” Evan replied casually. 


Megan fell silent. How could Lynn just kidnap her daughter-in-law like that? She grabbed her phone from the table.

“I’m going to tell Lynn to return your sister!” Megan snapped. 


“No need, Mama. Just let him be,” Evan said, trying to calm her down. 


“How can I stay calm when that reckless boy took my daughter-in-law away? The wedding reception is about to start!” Megan was upset. 


“Maybe Lynn just wanted to see how beautiful Feli is before anyone else does,” Evan said bluntly. 


No one knew where the two had gone. They simply disappeared. But for Evan, it wasn’t surprising. Ever since the beginning, whenever Feli dressed up and looked stunning, Lynn couldn’t stand it. Megan was confused. How could her firm, serious son turn so possessive?
