"For now, you need to hide. Sooner or later, the Jasson family will find you," the man said.
"Why should I hide? Hey... You know I’m a free woman, right?" Adinda shouted.
"Don’t even dream of being free this time. If not, the Jassons will catch you. And I won’t lift a finger to protect you," the man replied coldly.
Adinda ignored his words and sat on the couch, pouting. She hated being trapped in this house.
The man looked at Adinda for a while. He knew she was a free-spirited woman. Eventually, he gave in.
"Fine. But I have some conditions. First, you’ll be my assistant at every business meeting," he said firmly.
"I can’t do that. I have zero talent in business," Adinda replied.
"Don’t worry. You’ll have another job. The second task: please me in bed every day," he added casually.
Adinda agreed without protest. The two tasks seemed easy for her. She smiled and walked closer to him.
"Yes, I’ll do it, darling," she whispered sweetly.
