“She went out to buy traditional snacks with Clara,” said Megan while munching on the green cake.
“CLARA!” Juan lowered his head. There was something he couldn’t explain—it wasn’t betrayal, just a strange feeling.
As she finished her snack, Megan looked at Juan curiously. “I just realized… there’s a guard named Clara?”
“She’s one of the Black Horizon bodyguards. Andi assigned her to protect Grandpa Lance. She usually stays in Milan, that’s why you’ve never seen her,” Juan explained.
“No wonder,” Megan commented.
“There’s no chance to meet her anyway. We barely even meet each other,” Juan added as he leaned back on the sofa.
Meanwhile, in another room, Andi was holding Grandpa Lance’s hand with a soft smile. “Papa, stay here for a while.”
“If that’s what you want, I’ll stay. The company isn’t doing well. I know about the issues, but my health keeps me from doing anything,” the old man admitted.
“Why didn’t you tell us earlier?” Andi asked.
