Chapter 13

Kathy

I was on the bed thinking of how to execute my plan without any mistakes. He has to pay and I will not spare him neither will I break my promise of making his life hell, I just hate.

I heard the door open and he come in laying on the bed, I quickly turn back on him cos I don't want to face him at all.

I was about to sleep when I heard him speak.

" Listen I'm sorry for how I treated you at my office Kathy I really didn't mean to "

Oh so he's only sorry for humiliating me in his company.

I turn to face him.

"and what about what you did to me earlier today, ugh? "

"Oh, if you think am gonna apologize for that then you are wrong cos I can not do that "

Seriously?

" Really? so what is the need of apologizing to me anyway "

" Look Kathy I know I was wrong so that is why I apologize for that but whatever happened today doesn't deserve an apology, come on Kathy you are my wife so I can't apologize for that, goodnight" he said and turn his back.

I was so screwed up in anger I felt like straggling him to death but I won't do that instead I'll punish him for it.

The next morning I woke up to an empty bed, well I wasn't expecting to see him anyway so I stood up from bed arranged the bed properly before going for a shower. After I had my bath I went to the kitchen to make breakfast so I ate a chocolate chip cookies with an orange juice, I didn't want to cook cos I have to be in Brian's office as fast as I can. I still have to execute my plan.

I was in a black limo with Leo driving me to Brian's office I hope am not too late to be there. I glance at my wristwatch I still have twenty minutes left. 'Dear God please let my plan work today, help and support me oh lord I don't want to do this alone, I want you to help me with my plan at any cost ' I prayed silently under my breath. This plan just have to work.

I entered the elevator going to the sixth floor as soon as Leo dropped me in my destination I really don't have much time to waste the time is ticking. I door beeped open and I came out rushing to his office, on my way I met Brian's secretary, she shot me a hard glare I ignored it and walked pass her then I stopped when I realized something.

I turn around and went to meet her.

"Didn't you see me? "

What kind of an employee doesn't greet his boss's wife, I know I should have ignored her and forcus on what o came here for but I can't let her go scot free.

"Good morning "

Really?

"Good morning what? " I said with furrowed eyebrows

"Good morning ma'am "

"Good "

I sat and bounce to Brian's office and barge in.

"Hello husband "

Brian

I was cross checking the projecton my laptop and its files when I heard Kathy's voice. Oh gosh, what is she doing here now.

"Hello wifey have you come over to give me a bad day at work today " I said giving her a fake and terrible smile.

"eheww, stop that Brian " she said referring to my terrible smile with a disgusted look.

"So how why are you here"

She walked up to me with a sigh.

"Come on dear I just came to check on you and keep you company while at work " I rolled my eyes.

Really? A company like Kathy will always turn out to be your worst nightmare and I'm certain all this act of hers is up to no good but I need to get this contract over with before I deal with her.

"Already then you can sit down and keep your handsome husband company okay " I said said pointing at the couch beside me.

"No worries, I'll just look around" she said looking around my office, she looks kind of sexy today. She wore a white crop top on short tummy skirt that stopped on her lap and her hair was packed into a high ponytail with her front hair escaping the bond on each sides making her look elegant and even more beautiful.

After drowning in her beauty I realized I have to finish my work. So I called Tina, my secretary and asked her to bring me the files for the project. Those files are very important for the project without it the concert can not be approved so I need to be very careful with the file.

Kathy stopped wondering about in my office when she heard me call Tina. She pursed for a while before walking towards me she quickly sat on my lap and Tina opened the door.

Oh now I get what she's trying to do. I smiled inwardly, I really don't know why am happy because of what she did but it felt good to see trying to make Tina realize am hers.

Tina looked a little shocked and confused then it took into anger. I know Tina have feelings for me but I made it clear to her it was just a one night stand and nothing more but she cared less, even if I asked for just a kiss in change for her job she will gladly do it without thinking it through, foolish girls.

"Hey what is wrong with you, how can you barge into the office without knocking" Kathy yelled at her.

Okay, I'm really enjoying this.

"I'm so sorry " she said angrily

"and? "

"sorry ma'am "

"good, now listen if you ever speak to me without addressing me as ma'am I'll fire you myself is that understood " she warned. If I was alone right now I would have laughed my ass out but it wouldn't be proper to do that now. I just admire her confidence and the way she speaks it's really sexy and possessive.

Tina looked at me with shame and with the hope that I will say something to Kathy but I can't and I won't she deserves it anyway. She turn her gaze back to Kathy

"yes ma'am "

She walked up to me and gave me the files.

"the meeting will begin in ten minutes sir"

I nodded in response then she left. As soon as the door closes Kathy was about to get up when I pull her back on my lap.

" where do you think you are going "

"I have work to do Brian so let me go " I wanted to stand up but I pull her back on my lap.

" You are not going anywhere Mrs Katherine Wilson"

"I'll be back I promise " she said holding my cheeks.

I wonder what game she is playing now cos the Katherine Martins I married will never act this nicely.

I left her get up and she went to the toilet, I don't really know what she's doing cos she pursed before turning back to smile at me before opening the door.

It was time for my meeting now but Kathy is yet to come out of the toilet, what could she be doing in there and I didn't even hear her voice since then.

"Kathy, I decided to call her but she wasn't replying. Did something happen to her, is she alright?. I couldn't stop my heartbeat, she might be hurt or something.

I quickly ran inside the bathroom and met her on the floor in the toilet. It was as if my heart was turn into pieces, I couldn't comprehend the type of fear that gripped me when I saw her body on the floor, I ran to her and carried her on my lap.

"Kathy please open your eyes" I said slapping her cheeks a little.

"Kathy please say something"
