Morning in the Eternal Radiance Divine Sect began, as usual, with chaos.
This time, however, it wasn't Hu Daniu screaming about stolen chickens.
It was Li Qingyu himself, standing atop the newly repaired chicken shrine, waving a large wooden sign that read:
"OFFICIALLY RECOGNIZED SECT. TRESPASSERS WILL BE PELTED WITH DUMPLINGS."
Su Jian blinked up at him. "Sect Master… is this necessary?"
"Absolutely," Li Qingyu replied. "We have to act bigger than we are."
Ziyan crossed her arms. "That only works if the enemies are stupid enough to believe us."
"They usually are."
And thus began a typical day.
---
Meanwhile, down the mountain.
Whispers spread like wildfire through the neighboring sects.
"Did you hear? That Eternal Radiance… something sect actually got registered."
"Hah! Must've bribed someone."
"I heard they defeated an Iron Bone Fist disciple using… a broom?"
The rumors only grew more ridiculous by the hour.
At the Iron Bone Fist Sect, disciples grumbled in shame.
"Don't bring it up again! Senior Brother said he slipped on… chicken feathers."
Back at Eternal Radiance, Hu Daniu took these rumors as a personal badge of honor.
"See? We're famous!" he cheered while polishing the chicken shrine.
Su Jian adjusted his glasses. "Infamous, you mean."
Ziyan sighed. "Either way, we're being noticed."
Li Qingyu grinned. "Exactly as planned."
---
But fame came with consequences.
The first arrived in the form of sneaky shadows lurking at the foot of the mountain.
A group of disciples from the neighboring Clear Sky Sword Sect, in flashy robes, stood by the path, pretending to be 'lost travelers.'
Li Qingyu spotted them from the cliffs.
"Visitors," he said, stroking his chin.
"Spies," Su Jian corrected.
Li Qingyu waved it off. "Same thing. Let's be good hosts."
Thus, the Eternal Radiance reception team—composed of Daniu wearing an ill-fitting elder robe, and Ziyan looking like she'd rather stab them than speak—descended to greet the 'guests.'
"Welcome to Eternal Radiance Divine Sect," Daniu announced in a grand tone.
One of the Clear Sky disciples sneered. "This… shack is your sect?"
Ziyan's eye twitched. "Would you like to test our hospitality?"
Li Qingyu appeared from the side, smiling warmly.
"Of course, if you're here to admire our formation array, do let me give you the premium tour. It includes… surprise foot massage traps."
The Clear Sky disciples paled slightly.
"W-we were just… passing by!"
"Excellent!" Li Qingyu said brightly. "Pass faster."
Thus, the first minor attempt at provocation ended with the spies running back down the mountain in confusion.
---
That night, around the campfire, the sect gathered to celebrate their 'victory.'
"We didn't even fight them," Su Jian pointed out.
"Exactly," Li Qingyu sipped his tea. "Winning without fighting is the highest form of warfare."
"Or they just thought we were too pathetic to bother with," Ziyan muttered.
Daniu raised his bowl. "To being too pathetic to fight!"
The sect toasted awkwardly.

Li Qingyu smiled at the system message.
Step by step.
They were getting noticed.
In exactly the way he wanted.
