Epilogue

Five years had passed since that day when Ren proposed to Emi, and their lives had grown fuller with the quiet and joyful chaos that comes with building a family. Their daughter, Hina, now four years old, had inherited Emi's bright eyes and Ren's sharp gaze. She was playful, clever, and fast on her feet, especially when she was running around with Yuto, the son of Daiki and Sora.

That afternoon, Hina and Yuto were outside chasing each other through the garden. Their laughter echoed through the yard as they darted between the trees and around the benches. "Hina, wait for me!" Yuto shouted as he tried to catch up with her. She giggled and turned her head, calling back, "Catch me if you can!"

Inside, Emi stood by the window, wiping her hands on a towel, watching the children play with a soft smile. Ren came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist, resting his chin lightly on her shoulder. "You see that? That's your fault," he murmured. "She's just as fast and mischievous as you."

"She's perfect," Emi replied, leaning back into him. "I still can't believe she's ours."

In the kitchen, Daiki and Sora had just finished preparing tea. Sora leaned into Daiki as he handed her a cup, her fingers brushing his. "They've grown up fast," she said quietly.

"Yeah," Daiki agreed, watching Yuto through the window. "Feels like we were just holding him in the hospital not long ago."

Their peace was briefly interrupted when the children ran toward the porch, breathless and red-faced from running. "Mom! Dad!" Yuto called out, heading toward Sora and Daiki. "I'm going to marry Hina!"

Emi covered her mouth with a laugh as she looked down at Hina, who nodded proudly beside him. "Yeah! Best friends forever!" she declared, grabbing Yuto's hand.

Daiki raised his eyebrows and gave Sora a teasing look. "Looks like we might have future in-laws in the making."

Daiki raised his eyebrows and gave Sora a teasing look. "Looks like we might have future in-laws in the making."

"Stop it," Sora said, smiling as she looked over at Emi and Ren. "But honestly, if Hina turns out anything like her mother, Yuto would be lucky."

Ren gave Yuto a small pat on the head. "You'll have to grow up strong first. I'll be watching," he told him.

"You're already acting like an overprotective dad," Emi teased.

"Someone has to," Ren replied.

As the children ran off again, the four adults remained on the porch, sitting close and watching their kids continue their game. Ren reached over and laced his fingers through Emi's. "They'll make good memories together," he said.

"They already are," she replied.

Daiki turned to Sora, resting a hand on her back. "I never imagined life could feel this complete."

Sora nodded. "Yeah. We really have something special now."

The sun dipped lower into the sky, casting warm light over the garden.
