Wang Xiaoyu, once known as the unmatched young genius in Shuanghe, stood at the very top of the martial arts world. He was the best among his peers, he challenged those above him and had once challenged a sword Deity.

His sword strikes were as quick as the wind, as graceful as flowing water, yet they carried the ferocity of a dragon and the resilience of a qilin’s hide. He was revered throughout the land, bringing immense pride to the Baishu Sect, which was founded by his own father.



But that glory soon turned to ashes.



Betrayed by those close to him, Wang Xiaoyu's life shattered when his father was murdered by his own trusted aides. To make matters worse, Wang Xiaoyu was poisoned by his own fiancee used as a pawn in their conspiracy.

Yet fate had other plans for him.



Though the poison stripped him of his cultivation and sword skills, Wang Xiaoyu fought his way back from the edge. Emerging from the shadows, he established the Mask Pavilion, a secretive organization committed to rooting out corruption and seeking revenge. With the help of two deadly twin brothers he encountered along his journey, Wang Xiaoyu now treads the path of the masked avenger, taking down tyrants, destroying evil sects, and carving a bloody path back to justice.
