"I'm sure your father would love to hear all about this", She said to Stiles, her eyes then shifted towards Jackson, whose cheeks were reddish.
"Mr. Whittemore fighting within the school's premises can be met with severe repercussions.
You might even lose your place in the Lacrosse team if you are not careful," She said, a hint of worry tinged in her tone.
"Miss, he punched me!" Jackson said, pointing at Liam, who was looking stunned as he kept staring at her.
"Now Jackson, do not try to play me for a fool" Jennifer crossed her arms not buying the fact that a random student was the person who first attacked Jackson.
Her eyes then shifted to Liam
"Is there something so interesting about me that you keep staring, Mr...?" She said looking at Liam.
"Liam Dunphy" he replied, getting snapped out of his daze and just then the bell rang.
"Well, now you will all be receiving a call to your parents" She said staring at everybody with a hint off disapointment.
"Alright, time to disperse, you should be feeling lucky that I do not escalate this matter", She said as Liam, Stiles and Scott began to head to their classes.
As Jackson was walking towards the camera with his two buddies to grab it, Mrs. Jennifer called out to him.
"I will be confiscating that camera, so hand it over," she said.
Jackson glanced over and pleaded not to take it but she did not budge.
"Can I at least take out the memory card?" Jackson asked wanting to get rid of the footage of him being knocked down.
"No, please hand over the camera, with the memory card still within", she said, causing Jackson to grit his teeth.
His eyes shifted to Liam, Scott, and Stiles, who were walking away with anger.
He stepped forward and was forced to hand it over to Mrs. Jennifer.
She grabbed the camera and stared at Jackson "You can go now", she said.
Jackson tried to plead more, but she did not pay any mind.
"You're our star player. Don't let this wipe out your scholarship chances." She said as she began walking away.
"God Damn it" Jackson murmured as he turned around.
His fist was tightly clenched.
His cheek, throbbing with pain.
"How did he get so strong?" Jackson wondered.
He had tussled with Liam last week, and he was simply not that much stronger than him.
Yet now.
He was able to knock him down.
"It does not make sense!" Jackson murmured
"Wait..." Jackson suddenly had a thought.
"Could Liam be taking drugs to enhance his strength" Jackson wondered.
Mrs. Jennifer, also better known as Jennifer Blake made her way to her little section within the mostly empty staff room.
As she sat on the chair near her desk, she flipped open the camera screen and began navigating to the video Jackson's friends had taken of the fight.
She clicked play and watched the events unfold, her sharp eyes noticing as many details as she could to understand what happened and whether anything supernatural occurred.
Her suspicion was on Liam.
"How could a weak boy like him possibly knock down someone who was clearly stronger than him just a few weeks ago?" She murmured as she racked her brain.
She had seen the fight in its entirety, but didn't interfere, she had felt a slight pulse of energy coming from Liam.
She didn't know what it was.
She hoped that something would be revealed in the fight.
But that energy stayed unused.
The fight only showed that Liam was stronger than Jackson.
She tried to look for any signs in the video of something she might have missed, but nothing supernatural occurred.
In the end, she decided to keep a close eye on Liam.
"Could he be the reason the Ley lines had begun to fluctuate again?" she said as she looked at Liam's face.
Meanwhile, Liam was sitting in class, dazed.
He did not think that Jennifer would be here a whole year before the start of the official story.
"There must have been movements in the Ley lines of Nemeton, predicting the Awakening of Peter Hale, maybe my existence causing Laura to prematurely enter beacon view caused Jennifer to be sent here early, Liam wondered, his hand resting on the desk, ignoring what was happening in class.
"It's too recent, and from the reactions of Stiles and the others, she has been here for a bit longer, enough to establish herself somewhat, at least," Liam murmured.
"Could I be the reason she was sent here?" Liam said to himself.
The day soon passed with nothing extraordinary happening. At the end of the day, however, Scott caught up to him.
"Liam!" Scott shouted, attracting Liam, who was walking towards the pickup point.
"Yo Scott", Liam said with a wave "What's up?" He asked.
"I got the Club Stiles that was talking about registered officially," Scott said, the news.
"Really, when did you have the time to do that?" Liam asked.
"I went during the break and had it all set up," Scott said with a grin.
"That's Awesome, I guess, I know which club I'll be joining on Thursday" Liam said with a chuckle.
"Alright, I've got to find Stiles and let him know, see you tomorrow", Scott said as he jogged away.
Liam walked towards the pickup spot with a smile, only to have it wiped away as he saw Claire in the Van, glaring at him.
Adjusting his collar a little he felt sweat trickle down his forehead as he began walking to the Van.
I was only a little late, so it should not be too big of an issue, Liam thought nervously.
He was the first one to enter the Van.
"So I heard you were late again" Claire stated with a forced smile as she turned to look back at him, "Which is weird because I remember dropping you nearly 40 minutes early" Claire said.
"Uhh haha, about that, well you see it's a little more complicated than that", Liam tried to explain, hoping Claire would interrupt him.
But she didn't, she just kept looking at him.
Waiting to hear what he was gonna say.
"You see, the thing is... I got lost" Liam blurted.
'Well... Fuck' Liam thought to himself.
