Our Chosen Representative

All that you must do is find the secret entrance to another area where there are more of our people lying dormant waiting to be awakened once again. No other goal matters.

After the awakening happens, we will have all the things that we will need to destroy the cyborgs and remove them from this galaxy.

"Yes, I understand that you want to grow the number of followers but we are going to have to discuss how you are going to kill the Terran leader that was responsible for using my theory as a method of gaining a second life.

The gods were not on his side at birth so I believe that he should have accepted the fate that he was given instead of using my theory to lengthen his life longer than it was supposed to be." I said in rage as I was using my right hand to slice through the vines in front of me.

As soon as the ship's warp drive was working the AI gathered all the Terrans that chose to join us and told them to get into the ship.

This world was supposed to have an ancient weapon of The Fulkore Collective. The AI that I was bonded with said that the ships that were here could crack an entire planet into a million pieces.

"Sir this is also where we can bond the Terrans that joined us with the scientists of our collective. I know that they will be happy about that." One of the warriors that had joined our cause at the site where I was betrayed said as I walked away at the final set of vines that were in front of me.

The area in front was an ancient city that seemed as though it was asleep. There were colossal statues of the Ancient Osdronian Dynasty. There were a pair of aquatic statues that were guarding the entrance to the city.

"Well, that would be insane for us to go into the ruins through that route. We are going to have to…." I said to those that were around me, and as I spoke, I then saw that one of the Terran males run down from the group towards the ruins in a sprint as if he did not have a single care in the world.

That Terran is a fool and he may have just ruined everything by rushing towards the ruins like that.

"Do you think that we should go and get him?" the female Terran scientist who was the first person to willingly join our cause asked me as she pointed her right hand towards the male Terran who was about to alert whatever defenses remained active to our presence around these ancient ruins.

"No, I will not. Trying to save him is not worth the sacrifice of losing so many of you as it would cost me". I said to her in immediate response without even displaying the slightest amount of hesitation.

"How can you say that. I thought that all of us were of equal value to you?" she said to me as I saw that she started to cry.

"He has chosen when he will die. That was not part of my plan, but he has chosen when he will die because of his lack of patience.

As the leader of The Fulkore Collective, I must all put the general goal and lives of the many over the life of a single foolish follower." I said to her without even thinking.

As the male Terran approached the statues they came to life and they began to speak to him as they moved closer to them.

"What natter of organic life has stepped foot in our sacred domain?" they both asked him as they began to close the distance that was between them and the stray Terran.

"I am a Terran!". He yelled as he fell to his knees not able to move.

The statues got down on one knee and they used their eyes to scan the Teeran.

"The Terrans are too primitive to be out here. According to my archives, they are all still having global-scale wars on their original world of Radix Nova. They are not intelligent enough to make it to this world without being killed by their kind." The statue to the left said as he stood up and then stepped up on the Terran.

I say that if we want to be able to make it out of this in one piece then we should most definitely leave all the Terrans here until we can find a way to disable the statues that are guarding the main entrance to the ruins.

Then the AI took over the body and I was forced to observe the world from inside my body.

I do not know why but the idea of giving the AI control of my body no longer enraged me. Was it because I have begun to understand and side with its form of logic or was it because his personality and logic are starting to override any thoughts that I had that were independent of the AI's influence?

It would not matter to me because even if that was the tradeoff for getting even with the Terrans that laughed at my theories and mocked my ideas it would be worth it whatever the cost would be.

"Let's gather all of those that have gone through the merging and explore the ruins. Since we are a secondary form of the construct's creators, they should have no problem with us exploring the ruins.

Also, we need to find out if there are any Artifacts like the one Dr. Gery Victor used to make his escape from us when we took the mining facility." The AI said and then all the Terrans that had gone through the merging process where their once organic flesh is now no more than a pile of dead flesh were standing beside it.

"What do you want me to do while you are away exploring the ruins?" I heard the female scientist ask in a tone that told me that she did not want to be separated from the leader of The Fulkore Collective for any longer than she had to.

"I want you to lead the Terrans and ensure that they all stay around here while I go and explore the ruins." The AI said without moving and then it turned around and began to speak again to the female Terran. "My child, I have not yet asked you, but what is your name?"

"Oh, where were my manners when we met? I apologize my name is Cathrine." She said to the AI as she kneeled at it.

"Then Cathrine, I charge you with leading your fellow Terrans to the enlightenment that we bring in The Fulkore Collective while I am gone." The AI said as he placed his right hand on Cathrine's shoulder.

"I can not believe that you are giving such a responsibility after we just met." She said as she slowly lowered her head into a bowing posture as if she felt unworthy of being given such a task.

"Rise Cathrine you do not have to prostrate yourself in such a way while you are in front of me. As the first Terran to willingly join our movement, I trust the fate of those who follow to you. Remember that we do not work for the individual like you did in your former life as a citizen of The Terran Collective, but instead, we all work for the community.

Efficiency above all else is our motto. With your help, they will be able to break past the limitations of their flesh and embrace this new life that I have offered them." The AI said before it rushed down the hill towards the ruins not even looking back at her with a side glance.

Then as the AI began to rush towards the ruins I could sense that the other robotic members of the collective were close behind. I did not know how I could exactly since them but it must have been the same way that the AI could pull information from the minds of those that were no longer entirely organic. Maybe it was some kind of network that the AI used.

I did not know but I would have a lot of questions that the AI would have to answer after we complete our objective.
