Chapter 103: Mihawk VS Shiliew!

Chapter 103: Mihawk VS Shiliew!

"I definitely won't disappoint you, Mihawk. Come, come, let me show you whether my swordsmanship is weak or not after receiving sufficient power," Shiliew, clearly feeling his newfound strength, was also eager for a big fight.

"You two, if you want to fight, you can. I won't stop you. But you absolutely cannot fight on Rusukaina. I don't want this island to be chopped into pieces by you two," Buggy saw the signs of a great battle between the two and immediately stepped forward to stop them.

"I'll take them to the nearest deserted island. I happen to know of a worthless island nearby," Sandersonia immediately offered.

"Then I'll have to trouble you," Buggy nodded and watched as Mihawk, Shiliew, and the others followed Sandersonia onto the "Thor" and then flew off into the distance.

In front of the villa, besides Buggy who had motioned for Hancock to stay behind, everyone else, even the few Kung-Fu Dugongs and Human Drills, had gone along to watch the new round of a legendary battle.

As for why the remaining two didn't go, well, it can be summed up in one phrase, a man's knowing look—you get it!

And while Buggy and Hancock were enjoying a rare moment of tenderness, on a deserted island fifty kilometers from Rusukaina, Sandersonia had brought Mihawk's group here.

Looking down at the largely green-less, sandy island, Mihawk and Shiliew jumped down in unison. All that remained on the "Thor" in mid-air were the spectators.

"Mihawk, it's been over five years since our last battle. To be able to wait until today, I'm truly overjoyed," Shiliew, who was usually a man of few words, was quite excited at this moment.

"Less talk, more action," compared to the excited Shiliew, Mihawk's fighting spirit was even higher.

"As you wish. Take my blade first!" Without using any special moves, Shiliew pushed off from where he stood and swung his sword at Mihawk.

"Well-struck!" Holding his black blade, Mihawk also pushed off from his spot and met Shiliew head-on.

With a loud clang, the spectators in mid-air felt their ears ache from the sound of the collision.

What followed was dust kicked up high by the shockwave of the impact. But as the dust spread, a figure was pushed out of the dust circle at an extremely fast speed.

"It's Mihawk!" Paula cried out in a worried voice the moment she saw it.

Following Paula's voice, the crowd saw Mihawk being forcibly pushed out of the battle circle by a brutal force. The two tracks his feet dragged on the ground made everyone's scalp tingle.

"Shiliew, did you use your full strength just now?" Mihawk asked Shiliew, who was in the center of the dust.

"Would I look down on you? How about it? It doesn't feel good to be hit by this power, does it? To be honest, I was even shocked by the power I just unleashed," Shiliew was indeed startled by the power he had just used.

"That's good. Although the power is sufficiently ferocious, it's not unbearable," Mihawk slightly loosened his grip on his black blade and flexed his palm, which was aching from the impact.

"Good. Let's continue," after speaking, Shiliew shot up from the center of the dust cloud, brandishing his battle sword and unleashing a wild dance of slashes towards the area where Mihawk was.

One Sword Style Secret Technique: Mad Flower Chaotic Slash!

In just an instant, Shiliew had swung out dozens of massive, crescent-moon-shaped slashes, pouring them down directly onto the ground where Mihawk was.

On the ground, Mihawk raised his black blade and also began to swing, but he did not send out a single slash. He merely used a special technique to deflect the giant slashes that fell from the sky.

Shiliew, temporarily suspended in mid-air using Moonwalk, looked quite surprised by Mihawk's actions.

Because all the slashes just now had been deflected to the surroundings by Mihawk's black blade in an unbelievable manner. Not a single one had achieved its intended attacking effect.

"What is this technique?" Slowly descending from mid-air, Shiliew asked Mihawk.

"Soft blade!" Mihawk replied, staring intently at Shiliew.

"Ha? Is this the 'soft blade' stage you mentioned before?" Shiliew asked with great interest.

"Yes!" Nodding, Mihawk replied.

"Then I must experience it properly," no longer swinging slashes, Shiliew charged forward directly, his sword slashing towards Mihawk.

Clashing head-on again, although Mihawk's black blade met the attack, it did not contain much force. Instead, after making contact with Shiliew's sword, he used an "unloading" technique to guide the blade to the side, then followed up with a sudden burst of force, a horizontal slash aimed at Shiliew's chest.

Feeling that his own blade had not struck anything solid, the feeling of his power meeting no resistance made Shiliew so frustrated he wanted to spit blood.

But before he could, Mihawk's horizontal slash arrived.

Forcing his blade up in an awkward manner to block, the battle-hardened Shiliew barely managed to fend off Mihawk's attack. He shot back dozens of meters, and only then did the arrogance in Shiliew's eyes from having obtained new power recede as he stared at Mihawk.

After just three probing exchanges, Shiliew had come to a conclusion: he had obtained power, and it was far greater than Mihawk's. Otherwise, it would have been impossible to knock Mihawk back dozens of meters in the first collision.

But in terms of controlling that power, he was somewhat inferior to Mihawk. This could be seen from the second attack.

As for the use of technique, the third attack had made him understand that even with his rapid increase in strength, he still couldn't gain any advantage in close combat. Not only that, but because he couldn't control the release and retraction of his power at will, he was easily put in a dangerous position.

The Great Swordsman who could fight Red-Hair to a standstill was truly not easy to deal with.

"Again!" Gathering his thoughts, Shiliew raised his sword and charged forward once more.

Two hours later, as the entire island was shrouded in kicked-up dust, the first spar between Mihawk and Shiliew finally came to an end.

When the dust settled, looking at the giant sword scars crisscrossing the island, Sandersonia could only feel her eyelid twitching.

It's a good thing Brother Buggy stopped them earlier. If they had started fighting on Rusukaina, they probably would have been able to chop the entire island into pieces after just a few spars.

Then, looking at the two who had sparred, Mihawk had a wound on his left shoulder. Although it wasn't deep, the bloodstain looked a bit scary. On the other side, Shiliew had three wounds on his chest, also not deep, but bleeding continuously.

She had never expected that in this spar, it would still be Mihawk who held the upper hand.

After bringing the two back to the "Thor," Chopper and Law used the medical equipment they had prepared long ago to treat their wounds.
