A Little Latte

The sign outside the café read:

"Closed for a Private Party – Back Tomorrow"

But inside, the smell of fresh pastries mixed with formula and baby wipes.

Rina stood at the counter in a flour-dusted apron, bouncing a baby on her hip.Little Soeun cooed and kicked, her tiny fingers wrapped around Rina's necklace.

"You want a mocha when you're older, huh?" Rina whispered."Sorry, Mama says not until you're ten."

Kira appeared from the back, hair slightly messy, carrying a half-folded stroller in one hand and a plush dinosaur in the other.

"You left this in the car," she said, offering the toy like a trophy."You also locked the car with the keys still inside."

Rina grinned. "I'm raising a child, not a memory palace."

Kira rolled her eyes—but the corners of her mouth curved up as she took Soeun in her arms.

👩‍👩‍👧 Family in Code

The back room of the café had become half-nursery, half-dev hub.

Crayons and code lived side by side.

Their company now offered part-time remote work for new parents, coding mentorships for teens, and AI tools for disabled users.

They didn't build unicorns.

They built belonging.

And now, they were three.

🍼 One Last Cup

As the sun set, Kira brewed one perfect latte.

She handed it to Rina, kissed her temple, then looked down at Soeun, now sleeping in her lap.

"You think she'll grow up to run the place?"

Rina smiled. "Only if she gets your stubbornness."

Kira smirked. "And your heart."

They clinked mugs, careful not to wake the baby.

Outside, the streetlights flickered on.

Inside, the little family stayed wrapped in their quiet world—warm, loved, and caffeinated.
