As of right now I've just caught up to the latest chapter at this time (Chapter 4) and would like to give my opinion so far, I would say this story is alright at best, the overall quality of the writing isn't the worst I've seen before but it'd far from great. Many words repeat in succession, sentences are longer than they need to be and the poor use of grammar throughout make it hard to read at times. Granted it is improving slowly from chapter to chapter so hopefully it will be better sooner rather than later. The author has uploaded a new chapter every day so far so that's a good sign, but the timing between them seems inconsistent which does dock it a bit but overall I am impressed by the upload pace, even if it could use a few adjustments. So far the story hasn't really gone anywhere yet so I can't really comment on its development just yet, however the current setup for the future story is OK but could definitely use some refinement in its implementation. There hasn't been many character designs shown of so far so I'm basing this of both human and monster design, personally I am a hig fan of this type of aesthetic with all the descriptions about the transformstions and the overall feel of the monsters I think it's done a good job on that area. However the human descriptions for characters besides the main one are lacking any depth and even then the main Character feels a little boring and lacking much in the way of what separates an okay character design from some of the best. Finally the background descriptions have been surprising good with nice descriptions on how the environment changes in response to the world around it. But those descriptions only have so many possible variations before they start getting boring and uninspired. As well the current Lore being built up, feels somewhat flat, with rigid introductions to the ideas of institutions such as the Pale Choir and the Guilded Thorn. Even with this its still in its infancy of explaining these topics so it's best not to judge it to heavily just yet considering it hasn't had the time so far to properly delve into greater Lore about the world. Overall it's an alright read, something quick and some what simple if your just looking for some light body horror or a story which contains some darker tones and actions. Wouldn't currently rank it very high as of the moment but it definitely sows the seeds for potential in the future.
