Alright, I've begun. Hello everyone, this is me — Lanc. Today, I wanted to give a little introduction to the book I'm writing, so I decided to make this post. Let’s not drag it out. – What is this book about? This story follows a boy named Attu. He lives in a mostly fantasy world (though there are cities somewhat similar to those in our modern day). In this world, you'll encounter elves, dragons, demons, vampires, and other races you might already be familiar with. Attu lives far from these races with his mother, isolated in a quiet corner of the world. – How does the story begin? As you’ll see in Chapter 1, the story opens with a sacrifice. Attu and his mother (Aurora) live in a remote village near the Demon Kingdom, under the rule of the Flame King. One day, Attu discovers magical stones near the village. Unknowingly, he absorbs their mana and awakens a latent magical ability. That very same day, demons attack the village, and his mother sacrifices her life to protect him. (I know, it sounds like a typical hero’s beginning — but trust me, he’s no hero.) – What kind of person is Attu? Attu is a boy who has never known the world beyond his village. He harbors deep resentment toward his father, who left when Attu was six. Since he doesn’t resemble either of his parents, he believes his father abandoned him because of it. In short, he’s emotionally scarred, a little envious, and driven by revenge. – Will there be romance in the story? Yes, there will be romance. Some of the girls around Attu will fall for him. But to know more, you’ll have to read the book yourself. – How often will new chapters be released? New chapters will be uploaded every Monday and Friday.
