Hugo finally took his phone out of his pants pocket because it had not stopped vibrating since the moment he spoke with Carmen but he did not want to interrupt their conversation for a call that was certainly insignificant even. When he went to check, he found that it was the doctor who was taking care of Javier. Javier himself had promised not to call his daughter anymore because he didn't want to worry her, so he didn't understand the reason for this sudden call. He started to think but didn't know what he was going to think. He went to the door to reassure himself that Carmen was not around and then picked up the call. 


“Hello, Mr Lutero. I'm sorry for the inconvenience but I need to talk to you." 


“Is Mr Rodriguez is well? Has his case gotten worse?" 


“I don’t know if I would say it’s better than that or if I would say it’s worse than that. Mr Rodriguez wasn't feeling very well this morning, we did everything for him but he couldn't hold on."
