A day without work was what Carmen wanted deep in her heart and the only way to have that was to not go to the office. It was early to start not going but it wasn't a problem. She made herself a good breakfast and when she finished eating, she went out for a little walk in the garden. The house was starting to get very big for her and she didn't want to stay there when Hugo wasn't there. Those who worked for him were certainly there but it was not the same. she thought she would find an apartment but only one decoration came to mind, that of the house where she had spent a good time with Elio before Bea came home. It was stupid to think about that place but it was the only one he liked and besides, Elio didn't live there. She considered it compensation for having hurt him.
