The next morning, Carmen got up while the others were still asleep. Having confirmation of her pregnancy was the only thing she wanted to have to be clear. “I saw that mom but can I know what you’re doing like that? you walk like you're stealing something. Is this your house and everything here belongs to you or...is there something else? you didn't even spend the night in your room." 


It was something children shouldn't know and again, it was proof that she had failed. Vega couldn't say that for nothing because knowing Elio, he wouldn't allow himself to tell their daughter that kind of thing.
