A month later, Carmen had gotten used to life as a business owner and even though there were difficult days, she still got used to it. After all, no one said it was going to be easy and so, get to work and stay confident. They had set up another office for her where she felt perfectly comfortable. A bay window overlooking the entire city allowed her to not be disconnected from the world. She was about to end her day and imagining her evening alone didn't make her want to go home. She didn't blame Hugo because he made every effort to be with her but he couldn't give up his work either. When she cleaned up her desk, she got up and grabbed her bag. When she was in the large corridor, she was surprised to meet Mora.
" Well ! Am I late then?"
“A little yes, was it urgent?" Carmen asked him, hoping it wasn't anything alarming.
