Gradually opening his eyes, Elio expected to see blood gushing around him and above all, he thought he was waking up in another world because he still remembered the sound of the shot. His vision was blurry and yet he could make out silhouettes around him. it was very blurry but he knew they were people. He closed his eyes again and when he opened them, he finally saw the people who were there. His gaze lingered only on his wife's round belly and he was sad to think that they were all dead and yet their children still had a future ahead of them. He felt so bad thinking that it was all his fault because if he hadn't let that shrew into his life, nothing like this would have happened.
“Are you feeling well, Elio?"
“This place doesn’t look like hell or heaven. I wonder if I'm stuck in between and if I'll stay there forever."
