Are you happy?

Berielle's POV:

After the audition, I felt a strange sense of relief wash over me. Whether I got the role or not didn’t matter as much as the fact that I had given it my all. I had walked into that room, danced through the pain, and acted with every ounce of passion I had. That was enough.

With a light heart, I made my way to the small café where I still worked part-time. The familiar scent of freshly brewed coffee and warm pastries greeted me as I stepped inside.

Lily, my coworker and best friend, spotted me the moment I walked in. Her eyes widened, and she immediately rushed over, gripping my arm.

"Tell me everything!" she demanded, her excitement practically vibrating in the air.

I chuckled, setting my bag down behind the counter. "It went well. I did my best, so now I just have to wait."

Lily groaned dramatically. "Ugh, the waiting part is the worst! But oh my god, you got to meet Duan Yan in person! That alone is worth everything."
