It was then he realized that he was almost attacked by a bear! Wait…a bear? Ishar blinked his eyes and looked at his attacker. A pair of great, big, and interestingly cute eyes stared back at him. Ishar let out a deep breath he didn't realize he was holding.
Moti.
His presumed 'attacker' was just Moti in a fit of affection and happiness. Ishar turned his head upwards and saw four familiar faces grinning, a bit too much for his liking. He could feel his face heat up out of embarrassment.
"Heh." Ishar said, getting up casually, as if he hadn't mistaken Moti for a bear moments ago "What's going on?"
"Hello Ishar." Pratap started, with an annoyingly smug voice, "What had you said the other day? That Moti is the 'sweetest' and 'smartest' dog you have ever met? If I had only known at that time that you were referring to bears."
"Yeah Ishar." Naren added, "I know you're my biggest rivals but I didn't think that out of all people, you would be afraid of bears."
Karan and Aniket, who were trying not to die out of laughter, couldn't help but let out a small chuckle. This was a very unfortunate thing to do, since that chuckle turned to a full-blown laugh, and soon, they were both rolling on the floor with tears running down their faces.
"Oh, shut up." Ishar snapped, annoyed. "Listen, We can NOT go back to the military facility. We will get nothing but trouble there. In fact, something really strange happened."
Karan and Aniket stopped laughing and looked at him with a twinge of curiosity.
"What happened?" Pratap asked.
"The General, if you can call him that, locked me up in a room. A storage room, out of everything-"
"-Wait. What?" Karan asked shocked, "He actually locked you up? Like, trapped you alone inside a room? Wow. I never expected the army to be compromised at this level."
"And if one of the topmost soldiers in our country turned on us, who says that it won't happen with others? As for now, the few of us who are left, we are all alone in this fight."
The room turned silent. After two minutes, Ishar took out his phone and said, "I also found a room behind the storage one. I could see it through a small crack. On the screen inside, there was a blueprint of Pralaya-1, a complete map of how it looked from inside. Now, I don't know if the General is working with those monsters, but there is one thing for sure. Whoever is in that room, knows everything about Pralaya-1. The aliens, the weapons, in fact, they must know everything about everything."
"Which is why we need to get working soon. Ishar, look at this. We have already told Naren." Pratap said and beckoned Ishar closer to something. He wore gloves and held up a small device. It looked like a satellite, except for the fact that it was really, really, really small. It could fit in the palm of a baby's hand.
"This wonderful creation, my friend, is what we are going to use to take a peek inside the spaceship and find out what the aliens are up to."
