Chapter 1: Light Amid Shadows
Scene 1: The King's Prophecy
Location: The Sacred Kingdom of "Eden" – The Crystal Palace
In a vast throne room surrounded by pillars of blue crystal, King Alreus sat—a wise old man with a silver beard and a worn golden robe. Around him, the priests stood in solemn silence. On the far wall hung the "Eye of Eternal Light," a living magical mirror that pulsed softly, echoing a heartbeat-like sound.
King (in a low voice, gazing into the mirror):
"The night returns... and Zork has risen from his ashes."
The mirror shows flickering visions:
A burning city
A sky covered in thick darkness
The shadow of a man clad in black armor, holding a scepter with a red eye embedded in his chest.
King:
"The knights… they must awaken now, before eternal darkness falls."
High Priest:
"But they are mere legends, my liege... no one knows where they are, or if they even exist."
King, rising with his staff:
"They are not in one place, but in all places… I shall invoke the Call of the Spirit. Whoever was destined to carry the Light will hear it."
---
Scene 2: The Spirit's Call – The Chosen Five
The king stretches his hand toward the Eye of Light and whispers in an ancient tongue from the time of the Firstborn:
King:
"O pure spirits, O souls untouched by shadow… come forth. The time has come."
Five waves of light emerge from the mirror, each one flying in a different direction across the world—seeking the knights.
---
1. Hanto – In the burned village of "Irenfell"
Amid ash and smoke, a long-haired young man stands holding an old sword that gleams despite the soot.
Hanto was the last survivor of the massacre that wiped out his village by shadow creatures. He was digging a grave for his mother when the light pierced his body.
Hanto (surprised):
"What is this? Is… that a voice?"
A sacred mark ignites on his left shoulder, as if drawn by fire. The king's voice echoes in his mind:
"Hanto, you who resisted annihilation… come to Eden."
---
2. Hakura – Above the icy Kallar Mountains
A young woman with long silver hair plays a flute made from dragon bone. Snow falls around her, yet she does not freeze.
When the light reaches her, the music stops. She looks at her hand to see icy crystals forming symbols on her skin.
Hakura (whispering):
"This isn't cold… it's a calling."
---
3. Rygar – The battlefield of the Kingdom "Falgar"
In a blood-soaked arena, a massive warrior stands, covered in wounds, wielding a burning axe.
The crowd chants his name, but he freezes as the light descends upon him from the sky.
Rygar (mocking):
"So the Light chose me at last? I thought it forgot beasts like me."
He smirks as tongues of flame swirl around his heart.
---
4. Kaine – The dark alleys of "Nebra"
In the shadows, a swift young man runs after stealing a magical document from a merchant.
He suddenly stops when a shadow rises from the wall, wrapping around him—then turning into a glowing spirit of light.
Kaine (quietly):
"This can't be… light doesn't visit thieves."
But he feels his blood stirring, something awakening deep within.
---
5. Lorina – The Ancient Temple of Prophecy
A young girl prays alone in a deserted temple. Her eyes are covered with a white cloth—she has been blind since birth.
Light shines upon her, and for the first time, she opens her eyes. But instead of normal sight, she sees the future:
Zork slaughtering thousands
Knights falling
A king breathing his last breath
Lorina (with a sad smile):
"My time has come."
---
Scene 3: The Awakening
In the end, the five stand atop different peaks across the world, each having felt the call, each now knowing in their heart—they are no longer ordinary.
Narrator:
"And so… the legend of the Sacred Knights began. They do not know each other, but are bound by one spirit… the final light in a world on the brink of collapse."
