Chapter 5 - Demon King of the Sixth Heaven (II)

Oda Nobunaga!

The legendary warlord of the Sengoku Period, known for countless military conquests and for nearly unifying all of Japan.

And now, at this very moment, that historical figure stood before me.

But he… or rather, she, wasn't exactly how I had imagined.

Nobunaga resembled more a delicate Japanese doll than the fearsome war daimyo I had imagined. Her appearance didn't do much to change that impression.

She had long black hair that fell over her ivory-white skin, and her blood-red eyes strongly contrasted with the darkness of her hair.

Every feature on her face was so perfect that she hardly looked human.

To make matters worse, the great demon of the Sengoku Period wasn't just standing in front of me—she was completely naked.

Her hair partially covered her small breasts, while her intimate region was faintly visible.

In any other situation, I would've appreciated her nudity, but… she exuded a bloody aura, and her sharp eyes only amplified the pressure she gave off.

At that moment, my eyes were locked on her red gaze, which stared back at me with equal intensity.

We stared in silence, but the first to break it wasn't either of us—it was Olga Marie Animusphere.

"Wait a second! You're Oda Nobunaga!? But… you're a woman?" Olga pointed at her, clearly surprised.

Her shock was understandable.

After all, it was common knowledge that Oda Nobunaga was a man.

However, I wasn't that surprised. The Fate franchise had the infamous "genderbending ray" that turned historical figures into women.

"What?" Nobunaga placed a hand on her narrow waist. "What's the problem with being a woman?" Her red eyes focused on Olga, who took a few steps back, shrinking under the warlord's intimidating gaze.

"But…" Olga practically hid behind me.

"What a pathetic little woman," said Nobunaga with a sarcastic smile, glaring at Olga with disdain.

Mash, on instinct, raised her shield and positioned herself in front of her master.

Meanwhile, I brought my hand to my chin, not breaking eye contact with her. "I thought Oda Nobunaga would be taller," I said, a smirk forming at the corner of my lips.

Her red eyes narrowed at me. "So, you're the one who summoned me." Nobunaga strolled in my direction, showing no concern for her lack of modesty. "Hmm… you're not human… Interesting."

"I'm a Demi-Servant, or something close to that," I replied, shrugging.

"A hybrid," she tilted her head slightly, stopping right before me.

Our eyes locked, and suddenly, she moved her hand. At the same time, I moved mine.

The sharp clang of metal rang out through the air.

A small drop of blood dripped from my hand onto the ground.

That was pretty impressive, considering I wore the Monkey King's Robe.

Nobunaga's smile twisted unnaturally. "Hahaha! You really are interesting." In her delicate hand, she held a katana, while I was gripping the blade inches from my eye.

"Senpai!" Mash called out, concerned.

I didn't break eye contact with the beautiful Japanese doll before me.

"Thanks, but attacking your master isn't very polite," I said, smiling at her.

"Very well… I'll allow you to be my Master!" She pulled her arm back, making the katana vanish, and then grabbed my hand.

Suddenly, she opened her mouth, stuck out her red tongue, and without explanation, licked the cut on my hand, removing the blood that trickled down.

Unable to hide my surprise, I stared at her—she was definitely not normal.

"With this, we can say our contract is sealed." Nobunaga raised her head, wiping the blood-stained lips with a finger.

"That's rather… peculiar way of forming a contract." I looked down at my hand, now bearing only a faint trace of saliva—the cut was already gone.

"Common sense is boring," she replied with a shrug. "It traps ideas in an outdated box."

As we talked, Ritsuka peeked over Mash's shield.

"Everyone sees that she's naked, right?" Ritsuka seemed bothered by the detail.

"What's the problem?" Nobunaga shifted her gaze to Ritsuka, who immediately lowered her head. "My body is perfect. I'm not ashamed. Does it bother you?" she asked with a sarcastic smile.

"Not at all. It's a pleasant sight," I replied honestly.

"See?" Nobunaga looked back at Ritsuka and extended a hand toward me.

"That's not the point!" Ritsuka shouted, still hiding.

"Tsk! You complain too much," Nobunaga clicked her tongue and with a step on the ground, a set of clothes magically appeared on her body.

Now dressed, she wore a black military uniform that fit her slim figure, adorned with golden details that gleamed in the light. The high collar and perfectly aligned buttons radiated authority, while a long red cape flowed behind her with every movement. Atop her long hair sat a black military cap, and her hands were gloved in dark fabric. Completing the look, she wore golden boots.

Even fully dressed, her presence remained captivating.

Noticing my gaze on her, Nobunaga turned toward me.

"Disappointed I'm no longer naked?" she asked with a mischievous smile.

"Hmm! If I said no, I'd be lying. But I must admit, you're just as attractive in that outfit," I replied honestly, shrugging.

"You're quite the honest little man."

"It's one of my traits," I said. "By the way, my name's Altair Miller. A pleasure, Nobunaga." I extended my hand to her.

"Quite the exotic name," she replied, shaking my hand. "I am Archer! The Demon King of the Sixth Heaven, Oda Nobunaga herself!" Her smile was full of confidence.

As we shook hands, Olga, behind me, couldn't hold back.

"Wait a second! Things are moving way too fast," she placed her hand on her head. "Does this mean you really summoned Oda Nobunaga?"

"You're a really annoying little woman," Nobunaga scratched her head. "I already said I'm Oda Nobunaga."

"Right!" Despite her fear, Olga managed a smile. "We have a first-class Servant, and we summoned her in Japan, no less."

I tilted my head, confused. "What difference does summoning her in Japan make?"

"On Japanese soil, I gain significant advantages. It boosts my stats."

Ah, that makes sense. Nobunaga was a warlord who nearly unified Japan and is one of the most famous historical figures in the country.

With that in mind, I activated the [Eyes of Fire and Gold], which allowed me to see her basic parameters.

Parameters

Strength: C > C+

Endurance: B > B+

Agility: C > C+

Mana: B > B+

Luck: B

NP: ?

I smirked as I observed her stats. Her Mana and Luck were higher than mine, although I had no idea why her NP was marked with a "?".

I deactivated the [Eyes of Fire and Gold].

Almost at the exact moment I did, Olga, in a state of happiness, exclaimed:

"This is perfect, Nobunaga…"

She frowned. "Nobunaga? Who do you think you are, using my name so casually?"

It seemed Nobunaga didn't have much affection for our director.

"Sorry," Olga broke into a cold sweat, feeling the pressure from the Demon King of the Sixth Heaven. "Lord Nobunaga, forgive me for asking, but what did the Grail tell you?" she asked more respectfully, lowering her eyes.

Nobunaga sighed, crossing her arms. "Humanity is in danger," she said, as if it were no big deal.

While Olga tried to talk with Nobunaga, who didn't seem interested at all, Ritsuka stepped out from behind Mash's shield and approached me, with Mash following her.

"Looks like you summoned someone really troublesome, Altair-san." Ritsuka touched a finger to her lips.

"Really? I thought she was pretty cute."

Ritsuka blinked, incredulous.

"You're weird," she crossed her arms.

"I think Senpai just has a peculiar taste," Mash, like an angel, defended my honor.

"Thanks, Mash," I said, ruffling her hair. That pink-haired girl was starting to feel like a little sister to me. "At least now we can finally relax a bit…"

Tk-Tk-Tk! The sound of bones interrupted me.

Seriously, is this some kind of cosmic joke?

I turned toward the sound and saw several armed skeletons walking our way.

"Looks like you spoke too soon," Ritsuka remarked as Mash readied her shield.

But before any of us could act, the sound of triggers echoed through the area.

Nobunaga grinned menacingly, with six rifles floating around her. They resembled arquebuses used during Japan's feudal period.

"Leave it to me!" she said, waving her hand. "Fire!"

The rifles fired simultaneously, launching six red beams that obliterated the skeletons in seconds.

Olga and Ritsuka looked at the Servant with a mix of fear and admiration.

Meanwhile, all I could think was: She really is cute.
