Jazzlyn Valkyrie's POV
After a few minutes, Sir arrived and started collecting assignments, so I submitted the assignment of that idiot Elijah.
While submitting it to Sir's desk, I felt someone behind me, so I immediately turned around.
But I was immediately surprised when I saw Elijah's serious face,he also had a bruise on the side of his lip.
He raised an eyebrow.
"Make sure my score is high,I'll lock you in the storage room if it's low, tsk," he threatened, making me go "huh?"
Gosh!
I was right, something's wrong with his brain.
"Anyway, you're in the top three of the class, right? I know you're good at making that shitty assignment, haha" I frowned at what he was saying.
Now he's laughing?
Is he bipolar?
His mood swings suddenly.
He winked at me before returning to his desk.
I shook my head and returned to my desk also and started to listen to Sir's discussion.
After our classes for the day, I went to the storage room to clean because I was assigned this week.
Actually, Seven and I were supposed to be assigned here, but he's nowhere to be found.
It's currently 3:30 PM, and my shift at the convenience store is at 5:30 PM.
While cleaning, a volleyball suddenly fell because I bumped into a shelf, and it rolled towards the storage room door.
I sighed and was about to pick up the ball when a shadow blocked my sight.
I immediately looked up and saw Elijah's face. He was holding a folder and smiling like a psychopath.
"You're good, Valkyrie. Sir Atienza said the essay was well-constructed…" I frowned at what he said.
"Ah, is that so?" I stood up while holding the ball.
I was about to say something, but his expression quickly turned disappointed, and his aura became too dark.
"But you did it too well that he accused me of cheating,Jazzlyn Valkyrie! He fucking accused me, and it's all your fucking fault!" He pushed me to the ground.
I tried holding onto the shelf, but it just made things worse because the balls fell on me.
"A-ah…" I winced softly because my back hit the floor.
I looked at Elijah; his face was alarmingly serious.
"Fucking useless," he said before slowly going out.
It took me a second to realize he was about to close the fucking door.
I quickly stood up, but it was too late because he was already closing it, and he locked it from the outside.
All I could do was bang on the door.
Fuck!
Fuck you, Elijah!
Fuck you!
I pulled my hair and tried to open the door, but it wouldn't budge.
I had no choice but to sit down and cry.
I took off my glasses and cried my heart out.
Why the fuck did he have to do this to me?
Why?!
What did I do to him?
I'm fucking tired of this chaotic life.
So tired.
I tried everything to find a way out, but there was none.
I also tried shouting, but there was no one outside.
I didn't fucking bring my phone because I thought I'd be back to the locker immediately, but here I am.
Damn it!
I looked at my watch.
4:15 PM?!
I've been here for almost 40 minutes.
Huhuhu, isn't there anyone who will help me here?!
Fuck, if I'm late for my job, I'm pretty sure the manager will yell at me again.
Damn, my day is already bad; why did this have to happen?
I just banged my head on the door and cried.
I was about to give up when I heard someone's voice from outside.
I immediately felt encouraged.
I quickly stood up and shouted.
"Help!! Pleaseee!! Help!" I knew they heard it because they seemed surprised too.
I felt the door open, so I breathed a sigh of relief.
A huge sigh of relief.
As the door opened, I saw a familiar figure, and I'm sure—it's Ryder Thunder.
"What the fuck?! Why are you locked in here, girl?" I glanced at the person beside Ryder, talking.
She's the same girl I saw debating with Ryder the other day.
"Your words, Krystal," Ryder calmly said and looked at me.
"Fuck off," Ryder glared at her because of what she said.
But he quickly turned his gaze to me.
"Are you okay?" I swallowed because of his question.
Is he worried?
"A-ah, yeah, I-I fell asleep, and maybe the guard didn't know I-I was… still inside."
I shyly explained, even though that wasn't what really happened.
How could I tell him that "your idiot brother locked me up"?
We three looked at each other for a few seconds, but then I decided to get out of that place.
"T-thanks, I'll get going." I quickly left them both there.
I checked the time; it's 4:40, and I don't have time to recover from what just fucking happened.
I got my things and took a jeep to the convenience store.

Chapter 4
"Ate, where's my change?" A child's voice brought me back to reality.
Fuck, I forgot her change.
I immediately got her change and receipt and gave it to her.
After the child left, I immediately massaged my temples.
I'm stressed.
I can't move on from what happened earlier. I hated the feeling of being in that dark room.
I couldn't even breathe properly just recalling the scene earlier.
"Hey!" A snap pulled me back to reality, and a familiar face appeared.
S-she looks like someone.
"Can you hurry? I have somewhere to go," she said rudely, so I nodded and immediately scanned her purchases.
After scanning, she paid with a credit card and left with her goods.
I sighed while looking at her as she left.
I swear she looks like someone, but who?
Wait…
She looks like Ryd—
I immediately stopped when I saw something on the counter.
Wait, is that a car key?
Is it hers?
I was about to call her, but she was long gone.
I immediately took her key and quickly went out to chase her.
"Miss, wait!" I tried calling her, but she was on a phone call, so she didn't hear me.
"Miss!" I shouted again, but she still didn't hear it.
I decided to just follow her until we reached a secluded area.
Wait, where the hell is this?
I was about to approach her when some guys showed up and surrounded her.
What the fuck?
First of all, I left my shift; second, I just wanted to return this key. Why did we end up here?!
"You've been following me!" I heard the woman yell at the men.
The man said something, but I didn't understand.
"Fuck your boss, assholes! I won't go with you, and please tell him to just accept the fact that I already rejected him, tsk!" She rolled her eyes at them.
The woman was about to leave when they grabbed her and forced her to go with them.
The woman was resisting.
I immediately panicked.
Oh fuck, what am I going to do?
Fuck, think!
I immediately went out and grabbed something to fight these idiots with.
I approached them and hit one of them on the head with the two-by-two I was carrying; he fell to the ground.
Fuck.
I dropped what I was holding and covered my mouth.
Is he fucking dead? No way! Did I kill him?
The other two men looked at me.
"And who the hell is this?" I snapped back to reality and quickly grabbed the wood again and pointed it at them.
"Whoa, miss, easy! What the fuck did you do to Grift?" one said, but I tightened my grip on the two-by-two.
"Let go of her—now!" I authoritatively said, but they just laughed.
"Are you her friend? Huh?" he said, raising an eyebrow and about to approach, but I immediately brought the wood closer to him.
"Fuck, I said let her fcking go!" I cursed and tightened my grip even more, causing it to bleed.
But I didn't let go, maybe because of fear.
I didn't even feel the pain.
The two looked at each other, signaled, and then released the woman.
They then carried their unconscious friend and left.
"We'll catch you next time, tsk," they threatened the woman and glared at me.
They left, carrying their friend.
"Those fucking assholes," I looked at the woman when she mumbled something.
"Miss, are you okay? A—ah," I felt a sting in my palm, so I looked at it, and sure enough, it was bleeding.
"Oh fuck, is t-that b-blood?" I looked at her as she fanned herself.
I immediately frowned. I was about to ask when she suddenly collapsed to the ground.
What the fuck?!
"M-miss?, h-hey, wake up!" I immediately supported her, but she was unconscious.
I quickly got my cellphone to call an ambulance.
Fuck, I hope she'll be okay.
