Elena's POV
Julian tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear, his touch lingering just a second too long.
"Let's meet my family tomorrow."
I blinked. "Tomorrow? Julian… that's too soon."
He grinned. "Too soon for who? I've waited long enough."
"I just got my company back. Clarissa and Derick were almost eating me alive last week. Now you want me to walk into a formal introduction?"
He leaned closer, playful and sincere all at once. "Exactly why I want you there. Let's replace all that chaos with something real. Something good."
I raised an eyebrow. "You're really not going to let this go?"
"Not even a little." He stepped back, arms crossed, pretending to think. "I could push it to next week, but I'd probably lose sleep."
I rolled my eyes. "Julian—"
"Tomorrow," he said, grinning like a man who'd already won. "I can't wait."
I sighed, half-annoyed, half-melting. "You're impossible."
