This Is Disrespectful to Me

As Hill's words fell, everyone in the room exchanged glances—looking at me, then at you…

Tony and Rogers actually believed it, even feeling a bit moved.

But Captain America and Iron Man, the two who knew the truth, couldn't help but laugh.

Even Heisenberg couldn't resist turning his head, giving Gu Yi a helpless, amused glance.

Only Banner sighed in resignation.

"You're praising me too soon. I'm not dead yet!"

"Uh…"

Hill's brow furrowed instantly. She had planned to use Banner's situation as a breakthrough, steering the conversation toward revelations about future events.

She wanted to discuss why Hulk was in New York while Banner was here, why their bodies and souls were separated, where Banner died, and in what kind of battle.

That way, she could not only gather information about certain enemies but also uncover clues about future events—and even learn how to kill Banner!

But her plan was instantly shattered.

Meanwhile, Gu Yi helplessly pressed her lips together.

She released her teacup, letting it float in mid-air.

Then, she stretched her hand toward the ceiling and drew a circle.

Boom!

Hulk's massive body suddenly crashed down in the middle of the group.

"Oh my God!!!"

Pepper was so startled by the giant figure that she nearly collapsed to the ground. Thankfully, she noticed Heisenberg was still there, and Tony quickly supported her.

Just as she managed to calm herself, Gu Yi clapped her hands on the other side.

Banner's soul hadn't even reacted when it was suddenly pulled into Hulk's body.

Moments later, Hulk clumsily got up, smiling awkwardly at everyone.

He was fine until he smiled…

"Dear God!"

Boom!

Thud!

In an instant, Pepper fired a palm blast, sending Banner crashing back onto the sofa.

Fortunately, Tony quickly held Pepper, preventing the one-sided assault from escalating.

Even seated, Pepper remained wary. Ever since watching videos of Hulk destroying cities, she couldn't bring herself to trust the green giant.

Seeing Pepper so tense, Heisenberg raised his hand and gently patted her.

Everyone turned to look at Heisenberg, including Pepper.

Heisenberg nodded at Pepper and softly said,

"Stay calm. He won't cause trouble."

"Okay, I understand."

Pepper struggled to respond, then leaned on Tony.

Oddly enough, after Heisenberg's words, her fear truly subsided!

It must be because… because she'd seen the video of Heisenberg knocking Banner out with three punches. It had to be.

Seeing Pepper calm down, Banner helplessly smiled at everyone.

"It's fine!"

His deep voice echoed through the room.

"I'm used to it, and I'll prove over time that my current form is safe."

With that, Pepper was completely reassured.

He could communicate, wouldn't roar uncontrollably, and Superman was right there.

Definitely no problem!

At this point, the room fell briefly silent. After a moment's pause, Tony spoke up.

"Before we formally discuss the future, I have a question, Heisenberg.

Why can your elegant female friend so confidently confirm their identities?"

"Hmm."

Heisenberg nodded, then glanced at Gu Yi.

Gu Yi smiled at him, then explained to everyone.

"I am the current Sorcerer Supreme of the Ancient One's Order. For nearly two millennia, the Order has worked alongside Asgard to protect Earth.

Asgard focuses on defending against extraterrestrial invaders, while the Order counters incursions from other dimensions and multiversal demons.

I inherited the will of the previous Sorcerer Supreme, Agamotto, and have held this title for six hundred and forty-two years. This is my identity, and the basis for my assurance of theirs."

"The Ancient One's Order? Sorcerer Supreme? Like a wizard?!"

Tony was so shocked his jaw nearly dropped.

Iron Man, standing beside him, couldn't help but snicker at Tony's stunned expression.

"The world is much bigger than you think, young one!

But now's not the time for this!

Captain, let's get to the point!"

Iron Man's words reminded Captain America.

Cap immediately grew serious, straightening his back and speaking with difficulty.

"Right. Our identities have been confirmed by two Infinity Stone holders. So,

questions about past versions of Tony and me, our secrets, or what the Infinity Stones are—please hold those for now!

The Pym Particles we used to get here are nearly depleted. We must make every minute count.

So, Mr. Heisenberg, Ms. Gu Yi, I'd like to borrow the Mind Stone and Time Stone. I hope you'll approve!"

As Cap finished, Gu Yi smiled warmly at Heisenberg, removing the Eye of Agamotto and placing it trustingly in his hands.

"You decide," Gu Yi said gently.

With Gu Yi's words, the four Avengers turned to Heisenberg, their gazes intense.

Even Hill, who couldn't understand them, felt the tension and looked at Heisenberg too.

Amid the Avengers' eager anticipation, Heisenberg slowly shook his head.

"Absolutely not!"

In an instant, Cap's face fell, and Iron Man frowned.

Banner clenched his jaw, and Ant-Man glared at Heisenberg.

Facing these desperate, irritable heroes, Heisenberg casually spread his hands.

"You're all superheroes, huh.

In a crisis, don't be so quick to anger—or you'll die fast!

And so far, you've only demanded stones from me without considering my thoughts!

All issues should be viewed from multiple angles, not just your own. So let me tell you…!"

He glanced at Gu Yi, who suddenly pushed her right hand forward, opening a portal!

On the other side was the Mind Staff Heisenberg had left in the theater… and…

"Whoa, what the—?!"

Billy, who was diligently cleaning, was startled by the portal!

"Quiet, Billy!"

Heisenberg rolled his eyes in exasperation.

Hearing his boss's voice, Billy finally saw who was sitting on the other side of the portal.

"Boss?!"

"Yeah, keep working."

Heisenberg nodded, raising his right hand. The Mind Staff on the other side flew into his grasp.

The portal vanished the next second. Heisenberg and Gu Yi shared a knowing glance.

It had to be said—this unspoken understanding, where you just get each other, was incredibly satisfying!

Gu Yi, having lived over six hundred years, was truly remarkable!

Turning back, Heisenberg faced Captain America and Iron Man again.

He lightly weighed the Mind Staff in his hand and continued.

"You've only spoken of your needs and the beliefs driving them.

You seem to think your beliefs justify your actions, and that I should support you without question!

From a transactional standpoint, you expect me to give without offering anything in return!

From a planning standpoint, you've only mentioned returning the stones if you succeed, not the risk I'd face if you fail—losing the Infinity Stones!"

Heisenberg slowly rose from the sofa, holding the staff as he stood before the four Avengers. He looked down at three of them and asked,

"Do you know what the Mind Stone means to me?"

The four shook their heads silently.

Heisenberg smiled coldly.

"You only know what it means to you, never considering its significance to me. That's disrespectful to me, don't you think?"

His words hung in the air, and the room fell silent.

Heisenberg didn't rush, quietly waiting for their response.

After a full seven or eight seconds, Cap finally stood and addressed Heisenberg.

"I'm sorry. I truly don't know what I can promise you, and I can't guarantee our success.

You're right—this deal is inherently unfair to you.

But that doesn't mean we'll demand your help for free!

Whatever you need, if we can do it, we'll fulfill your request.

Even if it costs us our lives…

we won't hesitate!"

Cap's eyes blazed with determination, even affecting bystanders like Hill and Tony.

Tony was about to speak up for the Avengers when Heisenberg suddenly laughed.

"Heh…"

He chuckled, holding the Mind Staff before Cap's chest.

"I just asked what the Mind Stone means to me. Do you know?"

"I don't. Please explain—we're all ears!" Cap replied calmly.

But Heisenberg casually tossed the staff to the ground nearby.

Then he spread his hands nonchalantly.

"The answer is—it means nothing to me!"

He patted Cap's shoulder lightly.

"Even the Infinity Stones are useless to me. What do you think you can offer?"

...

With that, the Avengers abandoned all hope of borrowing the staff from Heisenberg.

Of course, they didn't give up entirely.

The four exchanged rapid glances, each analyzing the situation and devising their own plans!

Banner wanted to find a chance to kill Heisenberg—or at least steal the stones. Clearly, Hulk's influence had rubbed off on him, or perhaps they influenced each other.

Ant-Man planned to revert to his old ways and steal the staff!

Cap intended to time-travel again, aiming for before Heisenberg and Loki's battle, to seize the stones directly from Loki!

And Iron Man…

He suddenly stood, placing a hand on Cap's shoulder and smiling at Ant-Man and Banner.

Finally, he turned to Heisenberg, his gaze playful.

"Guys, don't let this guy intimidate you.

He's said so many harsh things, but do you think he'd enjoy toying with us?"

He pointed outside, continuing.

"From the moment we entered, you've only spoken one sentence directly to the four of us!

In front of others, you're not a man of many words, Your Excellency!

But now you've said so much to us—that proves you have an agenda!

What do you think?"

Iron Man finished, raising his wine glass toward Heisenberg.

Seeing his demeanor, Heisenberg smiled.

It had to be said—Iron Man might be arrogant, self-important, or flawed in countless ways.

But in the Marvel Cinematic Universe…

this guy was undeniably the smartest, most charismatic one!
