Meanwhile, Nebula's proposal was immediately met with strong opposition from Captain America.
"Nebula, I know you've always lived in the universe, so your perspective is different from ours.
But no matter what, snapping isn't just an honor in your eyes; it's a challenge that requires sacrifice.
Heisenberg has already brought us the Mind and Time Stones, which is a tremendous help. We can't ask him to sacrifice more!"
"But the kind of sacrifice you're talking about wouldn't even harm a single hair on Heisenberg's head!"
"That's not why we're asking him to bear more. This is our universe, and we have the responsibility to solve our own problems!"
"So this is your idea of responsibility, even if one of us has to sacrifice themselves for it?"
Nebula shouted at Captain America, her words leaving him utterly silent.
It had to be admitted that Nebula's certainty about the Hulk's death truly frightened them.
And they really didn't want to lose another comrade, even one, after coming this far.
Moreover, Heisenberg was right there, his strength comparable to Thanos's, clearly indicating he could withstand the snap's backlash.
But what could they do? None of them could bring themselves to ask Heisenberg to snap!
After all, they were superheroes, the brightest minds in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
They wouldn't be like the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, making empty promises or offering something in return.
They were all intelligent and pure, despite their different life experiences. They weren't the kind of people who would ask Heisenberg to bear injuries at a time like this.
Perhaps they had such thoughts, but they would never act on them.
That was the superheroes' resolve.
So…
The atmosphere became eerily quiet.
The silence lasted for more than three seconds, with Iron Man and Captain America even preparing to sacrifice themselves.
But the Hulk acted fastest, pushing Nebula aside and striding toward the gauntlet embedded with the Infinity Stones.
"Stop arguing, I'm the Hulk! I'm sure this thing can't kill me. On our Earth without Heisenberg, I'm the strongest being!"
As he spoke, he reached for the gauntlet.
But at that moment, Heisenberg suddenly stood up!
He instantly appeared before Banner, his left hand restraining him while his right hand reached for the gauntlet nearby.
"I've been waiting for you to ask me, but you're all so shy!"
He quipped, slipping his hand into the gauntlet.
"That blue-skinned woman is right. What you see as a monumental sacrifice is nothing more than child's play to me.
Do you really think I'm that selfish?"
He said nonchalantly, but his expression suddenly darkened.
The feeling of wearing this damn gauntlet was far more painful than he had imagined.
Surging energy instantly crawled up his forearm, rushing toward his shoulder.
The sensation of his muscles tearing made him want to scream!
"Fck!"
Heisenberg had no more interest in chatting, quickly pressing his thumb and middle finger together and snapping!
Get it over with, this feels awful.
BOOM!!!
An invisible shockwave surged forth, and the world instantly changed!
In the brief moment before the Avengers could even react, Heisenberg had already removed the gauntlet from his right hand and thrown it away!
Then he took a deep breath, exhaling a frost breath onto his right hand.
As his reddened and heated hand was enveloped in ice, he finally felt a long-lost coolness and comfort.
Meanwhile, his system was frantically reporting the massive changes in origin material!
He watched as his origin material count instantly skyrocketed from a mere seventy thousand to a staggering forty-six billion!!!
Forty-six billion!
Looking at his origin material, even though Heisenberg was in agony, he couldn't help but laugh.
"Heh, hahahahaha!!!"
His laughter jolted the stunned Avengers back to reality, and in the next instant, they rushed over.
"Your Excellency, how's your arm?!" asked Captain America.
"What wish did you make with the Stones?" asked the Hulk.
"How does it feel, snapping your fingers?" asked Iron Man.
"You're the true hero, finding joy in saving everything despite the pain!" said Barton.
"Has our world changed?" asked Natasha.
Hearing Natasha's final question, Heisenberg laughed, his heart roaring with excitement.
You ask if our world has changed?
Of course it has!
Because I only resurrected Earth's population!
As for the other aliens, heh.
For the sake of the movie, he reluctantly resurrected the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Asgardians.
But aside from them, no other aliens would awaken from this damn snap!
God only knows how many lives this small change would alter.
Forty-six billion in gains spoke for itself!
Heisenberg, only now, truly felt rich!
But amidst his excitement, he couldn't shake off the Avengers surrounding him.
He slowly walked out of the crowd, approaching Tony, who was putting away the broken gauntlet.
"Buddy, I've done what I needed to, so I'm taking the Stones!"
"Of course!"
Tony immediately handed the gauntlet to Heisenberg, for Heisenberg's actions had truly earned their trust.
Meanwhile, most of the Avengers present received phone calls, almost all from loved ones who had once disappeared.
Barton was now endlessly chatting with his wife and daughter, and Ant-Man quickly called the Wasp.
Even Rogers received a loving call from the Winter Soldier.
Only Natasha…
The woman with wine-red hair smiled, relieved yet lonely, walking to the window and gazing at the ruins Heisenberg had just created outside.
On the other side, Heisenberg removed the Time and Mind Stones from the gauntlet, placing them back into the necklace and scepter, then casually tossed the gauntlet to Tony.
He then joined Natasha at the window, both of them looking outside.
Natasha turned to glance at Heisenberg, her lips curling slightly.
"What, do you like Earth's scenery?"
"Haha, Earth's scenery is all the same. I just want to look at you, still alive in this world!"
"Oh, what an honor?"
"Heh, don't think too much. In my eyes, you're just an achievement I've completed!"
As Heisenberg spoke, he secretly thought.
The achievement of Natasha from Avengers 4 not dying had actually been completed by his future self.
It felt so good.
