In the center of the ruins, Thanos flashed a savage grin at Heisenberg.
"You killed the Supergiant, took General Obsidian and Corvus Glaive when I wasn't watching!
And this timeline… is your trap for me, boy?"
"Heh…"
Heisenberg chuckled lightly, smirking as he responded dismissively.
"Who knows which version of me did those things?
But rest assured, I will do them, kid!"
"Hah, your arrogance makes me laugh. I've lived 6,800 years, yet I can't fathom the self-centered stupidity in your eyes!"
"Hmph, if not for being imprisoned for over 18,000 years, you wouldn't be standing before me, barking, Thanos!"
"So, you're an old-school rebel, but you were imprisoned, you lost to them. While I… will triumph!"
"Hahaha, fool! You can't imagine the heights I've reached, nor guess who imprisoned me. You're no match for them!"
As he spoke, Heisenberg shook his right hand.
The Origin Substance within his system rapidly consumed, and in moments, his hand returned to normal.
"Respected host, ancient Kryptonian Elder-level flesh and blood restored, supplemented with yellow sun radiation. Total Origin Substance consumed: 64,400 units."
Heisenberg ignored the system prompt, clenching his fist tightly.
Across from him, Thanos slowly removed his helmet from the sword's blade and placed it on his head.
"You don't like using weapons?"
Thanos asked, to which Heisenberg sneered.
"With a weapon, you'd die too quickly!"
"Heh, we'll see!"
BOOM!!!
Heisenberg's fist slammed into Thanos's blade, sending him reeling backward.
"Impressive strength!"
Thanos angled his blade, deflecting Heisenberg's fist, then spun and slashed at his neck.
Heisenberg didn't dodge, grabbing the blade and kicking Thanos in the thigh.
But their strength was evenly matched. Thanos yanked the blade free and turned its sharp edge toward Heisenberg's kicking foot!
BOOM!!!
A massive explosion sent Thanos flying over eighty meters, while Heisenberg's shoe split in two.
Undeterred, Heisenberg kicked off his remaining shoe, then removed his suit jacket, rolling up his shirt sleeves.
His left sleeve stopped at the elbow, revealing his muscular forearm.
His right arm was entirely exposed—the Infinity Stone's energy had burned through his sleeve during the snap.
With this bold stance, he glared at the rising Thanos, his contempt igniting Thanos's fury.
Just then, two roars echoed from afar—Captain America and Hulk charging in.
Iron Man, soaring above, fired a scorching laser at Thanos!
Thanos deflected the laser with his blade, while Heisenberg raised his right hand, using his force field to teleport Cap and Hulk far away.
"Don't interrupt us!"
Heisenberg bellowed at them.
"This might be the most meaningful battle under these stars, haha!"
His laughter infected Thanos, who raised his blade and waved at Cap and Hulk.
"Listen to him, you weaklings.
Find opponents worthy of your level!"
Thanos's words hung in the air as he raised his empty left hand.
From Sanctuary II, five portals opened, spilling Ebony Maw, the Black Dwarf, and countless Chitauri warriors onto the battlefield.
Thanos turned his back to his army, sighing at Heisenberg.
"I… haven't faced an opponent like you in too long!"
His voice was lonely, his pupils flashing with a golden figure.
"Since my defeat by Odin, you're the first worthy of a true fight!
This is no child's play—it's a battle to the death."
"So!" Heisenberg continued, "Either I die by your blade, or…"
"I'll pave your path to the throne with my flesh and bones!"
Thanos roared, raising his blade high.
Heisenberg soared into the air, his scorching heat vision slamming into Thanos's blade!
Thanos gripped the blade, staggering back two steps.
"Flying pests are annoying!"
He spun the blade like a windmill, blocking Heisenberg's heat vision.
Heisenberg charged through, grabbing the red-hot blade.
He inhaled deeply, exhaling frost breath that instantly froze the weapon!
Thanos guessed Heisenberg's plan. As Heisenberg's fist descended, Thanos hurled the blade skyward.
He unleashed twin punches, slamming into Heisenberg's ears.
Heisenberg blocked, kneeing Thanos in the chest.
Grabbing Thanos's arm, he hurled the Titan into the distance.
BOOM!!!
The ground shook violently, creating a 200-meter crater.
From its center, Thanos rose again.
Meanwhile, Cap, wielding Mjolnir, fought the Chitauri.
Ebony Maw, battling Hulk, sneered at Cap.
"That's your king—a destined failure!"
"But not to us, weak Earthlings!"
Ebony Maw's hands stretched, summoning a sandstorm dragon that engulfed Hulk.
Cap rushed to save him, lightning erupting from Mjolnir, shattering dozens of Chitauri.
But when he reached Hulk's last location…
The ground was calm, as if Hulk and the dragon had never existed.
"Ebony Maw!!!"
Cap charged, but Ebony Maw smirked.
"Thanos and I conquered countless planets, crushed galaxies.
You were never in our sights!"
"Then face Earth's might, you skinny blue monster!"
Iron Man fired lasers, but the Black Dwarf blocked them with a shield.
Ebony Maw waved casually, sending Cap flying.
Over forty Chitauri swarmed him, pinning him down.
Iron Man rushed to help, but Ebony Maw hurled him from the sky with a sandstorm.
Meanwhile, Thanos rose from the crater, brushing off dust.
Heisenberg, far away, examined his blade, still frost-covered.
Heisenberg feigned breaking it, but stopped.
Thanos felt a momentary relief, then fury.
"You pity me? Destroy my weapon! I've lost the right to wield it!"
Heisenberg glanced at him.
"If losing your weapon is humiliating, don't use it.
It'll be my trophy, preserved forever."
"Arrogant fool!"
Thanos roared, charging out of the crater.
Heisenberg flew parallel to the ground, dodging Thanos's punches.
Grabbing Thanos's arm, he rammed him into a hill, then a wall, then the last standing part of the Avengers Tower.
The building collapsed under their impact!
"What… are you?!"
Thanos endured the unstoppable force, feeling no pain from the crumbling structure.
Only their pure attacks hurt.
Heisenberg released Thanos, punching him mid-air.
Thanos blocked, but was sent flying into a room, now unrecognizable.
Nearby, a corpse-like figure stirred, opening its eyes.
