Heisenberg bid farewell to Bruce and, in the blink of an eye, arrived in the skies above Gotham City.
In the distance, he could see people near Narrow Island and the abandoned docks still dealing with the chemical plant fire.
Perhaps this city called Gotham had never truly known justice, but in the face of disaster, its people were united.
Even from afar, Heisenberg could see Commissioner Gordon coordinating police forces with his walkie-talkie.
And the Penguin, ordering his men to help extinguish the fire…
Gordon's tone over the walkie-talkie was far from pleasant.
"All of Gotham's fire trucks are here. Be careful near the chemical plant's transmission equipment. Send more firefighters immediately, quickly!
I really don't understand why, after going all the way to Metropolis, we still end up back in Gotham.
Does he just love this city that much?!"
As his words faded, another explosion echoed from the chemical plant, though since it was in an uninhabited area, Gordon's heart didn't skip a beat.
"The explosions will likely continue for a while. Make sure our officers stay safe and prevent the flames from spreading toward the city.
Fortunately, this is an uninhabited area—truly a stroke of luck!"
Just as he finished speaking, the Penguin, less than a hundred meters away, was also suppressing a low growl.
"Get your fat asses moving and put out this damn fire!
Don't give me excuses—our three workshops are underground there!
If you want your year-end bonuses, put out the fire, now!!!
Damn it, whose genius idea was it to build the workshops underground in an uninhabited area?"
"Hmm?"
Gordon faintly heard something and turned to look at the Penguin.
At the same time, the Penguin happened to be looking at Gordon…
In the noisy environment, the two locked eyes, then quickly turned away.
"Bad luck, damn Gordon!"
The Penguin frowned in annoyance and limped toward his car.
"You're in charge here. Don't let me see any flames when I wake up!"
Watching the Penguin's movements, Gordon also frowned.
He waved over the nearest officer.
"Follow Oswald's men. We might get something extra out of this!"
"But Commissioner, don't we get something like this every day? Can't we just walk into any building on Narrow Island and find something similar?"
The officer's retort made Gordon sigh and stroke his beard.
"Just do it. At least this time, it won't be small. Maybe I can send him back to Arkham again!"
"Yes, sir."
…
Listening to their exchange, Heisenberg smiled knowingly. For some reason, he felt incredibly cheerful!
Wrapped in his coat, he arrived above the chemical plant. Amid everyone's surprised expressions, he gently exhaled a frosty breath.
Moments later, the raging fire at the chemical plant quietly extinguished. But in an instant, countless lights illuminated Heisenberg.
"Great, Superman's here! That's fantastic news!"
"Wait, that doesn't look like Superman. His clothes?!"
"And his face—I can see his face clearly. It's definitely not Superman. Superman's face is always shrouded in mist."
"Who is he?"
"His style is so cool, like a mob boss!"
"Who the hell knows? Watch out for those cops!"
"Don't focus on the savior, keep an eye on those gang members!"
The voices rose and fell, and Heisenberg smiled contentedly. He carefully surveyed his surroundings—the environment, the people.
Then, he murmured softly,
"DC still feels better!"
As soon as he spoke, he vanished into Gotham's night sky.
After he left, Gordon and the Penguin almost simultaneously looked up at the sky.
Then, from different locations, they both said,
"Another monster has joined this city."
The only difference was that Gordon frowned deeply while speaking, whereas the Penguin's smile was oddly amusing.
…
Meanwhile, Heisenberg flew across the Narrow Sea to Gotham's neighboring city, Metropolis.
As he soared through the sky, Clark, carrying a little girl from a fire, looked up in surprise.
Moments later, Heisenberg landed beside Clark.
His sudden appearance startled the little girl in Clark's arms, who let out a soft "Ah!"
"Don't be afraid, he's my elder!"
Clark gently explained to the girl, then turned to Heisenberg.
"Is the meeting over?"
"Yes, so I thought I'd stop by to see you."
"Thanks, Grandpa. But I've already rescued everyone, didn't leave you any opportunities, haha."
Clark laughed heartily and set the little girl down.
But the girl, instead of leaving, looked up at Heisenberg with her big, curious eyes.
"Uncle, you're actually Superman's grandpa? Superman's grandpa is so cool!"
"Haha, you're too kind!"
Heisenberg laughed, squatted down, and ruffled the girl's hair.
"You're very pretty too, little one."
As he spoke, Heisenberg glanced at the fire scene behind him.
Unlike the uninhabited area, a fire in a residential zone couldn't be extinguished with frost breath until all civilians were evacuated.
That's probably why Clark hadn't put out the fire immediately.
Heisenberg extended his right hand toward the burning apartment building in Metropolis and said to the girl,
"Little one, watch me perform a magic trick!"
With a twist of his hand, the biological field instantly shifted, altering every particle of air in the fire.
Moments later, the flames vanished, and even the smoke was lifted into the sky by Heisenberg.
"Your abilities still need refining, Kal-El!"
Heisenberg teased, pulling a bottle of Wahaha from his pocket and handing it to the girl.
"A little gift for you. See you!"
The surprised girl hugged the bottle of AD calcium milk, watching Heisenberg leave with excitement.
Though she could no longer see him, a new Superman had left a deep impression on her mind.
This Superman was just as handsome, but his style was so dark!
Beside her, Clark thoughtfully watched Heisenberg's direction, seeing him enter the Kryptonian spaceship.
He figured his grandfather was probably about to clash with humans over the ship.
When the Kryptonian ship crashed in Metropolis, humans had immediately taken control of it.
Though Clark could remove the ship anytime, his pride prevented him from seizing it from the so-called FBI.
So, he'd ignored the ship for months.
But now that Grandpa was there…
Clark couldn't help but shake his head. His grandfather had been asleep in that ship—it was practically his home!
He had no reason to stop his elder from returning home, right?
He just hoped humans wouldn't push things too far with Grandpa!
…
While Clark pondered, Heisenberg had already reached the Kryptonian spaceship.
He flew through the hole created by Doomsday, directly into the ship's origin chamber.
As soon as he landed, he saw dozens of special forces soldiers using chains to drag the ship's AI core.
The mechanical organism that kept floating in the movie…
Heisenberg couldn't help but roll his eyes.
"Hey, stop it. Even when dealing with a dog, you check with its owner. The ship's owner is back!"
He called out nonchalantly, then stomped his foot lightly amid the soldiers' astonished gazes.
An invisible force field activated instantly, and before the soldiers could react, they were all ejected from the Kryptonian ship.
As they tumbled onto the lawn, they had no idea what had just happened.
But moments later, the distant Kryptonian ship, gradually lighting up, gave them their answer.
This ship, parked in Metropolis for over three months, had finally welcomed its true owner!
At that moment, inside the ship, the AI system, dormant and submissive to humans, came alive upon Heisenberg's arrival.
It slowly floated toward him.
"Identity verification: Code HZ0014, traitor, Elder Heisenberg, has escaped confinement!
Action decision: Suppress with force!
Data scan: Retract previous statement. Genetic data does not match criminal.
Detailed scan: Kryptonian… Kryptonian… Kryptonian…"
The tiny AI inexplicably froze.
Watching the machine's particles shift beside his ear, Heisenberg sighed, slapped it hard.
As the particles rapidly dispersed and reassembled, the AI reorganized its words.
"Genetic verification: Ancient Kryptonian, direct descendant of Rao, inferred to possess supreme command authority!
Greetings, revered Kryptonian New God. It is an honor to have you back. By bloodline, you regain eligibility to compete for Kryptonian supreme rule. I will formally report to the Elder Council!"
Moments later, the AI spun dazedly.
"Report failed. Reason: No recipient detected. Scanning details: Host has vanished.
Revered Kryptonian New God, your nation no longer exists!"
As the words fell, the AI began spinning around Heisenberg.
"Your nation is gone, your nation is gone, your nation is gone!!!
Kryptonian criminal Heisenberg has vanished. Mission revised to colonization. Planet transformation procedures listed. Please prepare materials, complete procedures, and rebuild Krypton.
Kryptonian New God's genetic sequence extracted, code 0005. Ship hub permissions updated.
Please enter your name, Kryptonian New God!"
Listening to the AI's prompt, Heisenberg replied helplessly,
"Heisenberg!"
"Name matches traitor Elder HZ0014. Confirm identity?"
"Confirm!"
"Heisenberg, colonization ship 0005 welcomes you. Ship hull damaged. Please confirm environment and ensure safety.
Activate energy field? Activate weapon systems? Activate communication systems? Activate environmental management mode?"
"Activate all!"
"Acknowledged!"
In an instant, countless programs that even Zod and Kal-El couldn't activate awakened on the ship, now reprogrammed for colonization.
Over three hundred storage bays opened, and hundreds of mechanical defenders deployed.
As the ship's energy surged, a pale blue energy shield expanded outward, enveloping a thirty-meter radius around the ship.
Simultaneously, the ship's omnidirectional defense systems extended from its hull.
The dark cannon barrels first targeted the armed special forces, then swiftly locked onto Clark several kilometers away.
The menacing aura made Clark's heart skip a beat as he stared incredulously at the ship!
"This… this ship can still do that?!"
Clark muttered in disbelief, then gently patted the little girl's arm.
"Go home, Uncle has important business!"
"But Superman Uncle didn't tell me the name of that black-clad Superman brother!"
The girl looked at Clark anxiously, worried he'd leave without answering.
Facing her expectant expression, Clark whispered,
"He's my elder, not your brother.
As for his name, only he can tell you. But I can share his title.
He is a Sun God!"
