Earth, Kryptonian ship. The glow of the Rainbow Bridge shines once more.
Two beams of light fade, and Diana and Mera appear in the cabin.
Scanning the room, Diana nods. The Justice League's numbers have doubled—excellent.
No one's wasted these two days.
Thinking of her own days spent fighting and soaking in hot springs, Diana feels relieved. Thankfully, her teammates aren't slacking like her!
As for Mera…
She glances deeply at Diana and Lois nearby.
Rare indeed—a god's team with three women?
We women have finally risen!!!
At this thought, she gracefully approaches Heisenberg, bowing gracefully.
"It's an honor to meet you, Your Majesty!"
"Just call me Heisenberg."
Heisenberg replies casually, then waves his right hand.
In an instant, all moisture on Mera and the floor vanishes.
Warm winds sweep through Mera's wine-red hair, making her long locks dance in the breeze.
Beside her, Barry blushes, lowering his head.
Honestly, Barry's grateful his armor is rigid.
If it were soft…
Cough cough…
Nearby, Mera gently gathers her wind-tossed hair.
With a casual flick, a small stream of water emerges from the air, swirling around her index finger.
Her slender finger points to her hair, and as she smiles, the water coils around her locks, instantly freezing into ice, securing her hair.
Adjusting her hair, she narrows her eyes at Heisenberg, smiling as she bows.
"Thank you."
"You're welcome. Please sit."
As Heisenberg speaks, chairs float to Mera and Diana. Once they sit, the chairs drift to the round table.
Now, Heisenberg sits at the head, Superman to his left, Batman to his right.
Thus begins his happy life, embraced on both sides…
Cough cough.
Heisenberg taps the table with his index finger, addressing the attentive group.
"The nine of you, except Lois, are official Justice League members—the first phase.
At least for now, we have no plans to recruit more.
Bruce, any other candidates?"
"You're right. I have no other files at the moment!"
"OK!"
Nodding at Bruce's response, Heisenberg continues.
"Then, let's introduce ourselves. If we survive future wars, we'll be together for a long, long time!"
His words land, and Heisenberg claps, pointing to himself.
"Heisenberg, Sun God, Kryptonian Elder."
"Clark Kent, or Kal-El, Superman!"
"Bruce Wayne, Batman!"
"Diana Prince, Wonder Woman."
"Barry Allen, Central City's Flash. Just call me Barry."
"Victor Stone, also Silas's student, Cyborg."
"Mera, currently Princess of Xebel, one of Atlantis's seven kingdoms."
"Arthur Curry, uh, Amnesty Bay, or some call it Mercy Bay. I'm from there."
Finishing, Arthur looks at Lois, seemingly waiting for her to speak.
But Lois remains silent.
Arthur's confusion, and his stare at Lois, annoy Superman slightly.
"Cough cough!"
Clark clears his throat, introducing softly.
"This is my wife, Lois. She's a human… just a visitor."
"Or visiting relatives. I accept this daughter-in-law, haha!"
Heisenberg laughs, patting Clark's shoulder. Lois smiles happily beside him.
Great—with Grandpa's approval, the last obstacle to Clark is gone!
Hearing Clark and Heisenberg, Arthur pauses.
His beard twitches, and he finally gets it.
"Oh, you're that Lois? I thought…"
"Enough!"
Heisenberg cuts off Arthur's realization, making Arthur stiffen.
As Poseidon's son and a seasoned Amnesty Bay local, Arthur knows who to provoke and who not to.
Though…
Sometimes, he can't imagine he's already provoked the most unprovokable person—after beating up a certain man!
…
With introductions done, Heisenberg raises his glass, speaking softly.
"No need to be formal. Drink and talk. To the Justice League's first gathering—cheers!"
"Cheers!!!"
Everyone drinks, awaiting the conversation. Bruce whispers to Heisenberg.
"I just thought of something important. Heisenberg, is our number a problem?"
"Indeed!"
Heisenberg nods, tracing the table's edge.
"With eight, tied votes are possible. So…"
He pats Bruce's arm.
"Let's recruit one more, making the first phase an odd number."
"Hmm."
Bruce nods firmly.
Nearby, Diana speaks softly.
"Yesterday, I returned to Themyscira. There are many Darkseid-related records, all stone. I didn't bring them.
Now that we're all here, we can visit Themyscira.
My mother welcomes you."
"Later. First, let's discuss why we formed the League."
Heisenberg explains Darkseid's threat. The group listens, Victor looking surprised.
After a moment, he speaks softly.
"Teacher, the Mother Boxes… I think I have one!"
"Good you spoke up. It shows you're thinking as a team."
Hearing Cyborg, Heisenberg smiles, satisfied.
He points to Diana and Mera.
"In the ancient war, Amazons, Atlanteans, and humans each held a Mother Box—proof of their unity.
Now, all three are with us!
Themyscira holds the Amazon's Box.
Mera, where's Atlantis's?"
Mera answers promptly.
"In Xebel, my kingdom."
"Then why not centralize them here? They'd be safer on the ship," Clark asks.
Heisenberg thinks, then shakes his head.
"First, three Boxes are needed for unity. We only need one.
Second, Amazons and Atlanteans have traditions around their Boxes.
We could take them, but we must respect our teammates' cultures!"
Heisenberg smiles, nodding to Diana and Mera.
Feeling his respect, Mera and Diana smile—Diana boldly, Mera gently.
Nearby, Arthur shakes his head, displeased.
"Just bring them here! Who knows if Atlantis's idiots will mess up!"
"You…?!"
Mera glares at Arthur.
"Atlantis guarded the Box for 28,000 years! You're Atlantean too—don't dismiss our sacrifice!"
"Hmph. Abandoning your son is Atlantean tradition too? Heartless, disgusting!"
Arthur's scorn is clear. Being abandoned by his mother is his and his father's lifelong pain…
Hearing Arthur, Heisenberg smiles faintly.
"Let them keep their Boxes. They're bait and traps for Darkseid.
Victor, we'll take yours.
I trust Amazons and Atlanteans. They guard, not study, unlike humans."
Heisenberg asks softly.
"Where's your Box?"
"In my apartment's storage, Teacher!"
"OK!"
Heisenberg nods, turning to Victor's hometown.
Moments later, a slender Rainbow Bridge appears in his palm.
To everyone's astonishment, a pure black cube lands in his hand, then slams onto the table.
Silence falls. Barry asks curiously.
"This ordinary cube is a Mother Box? It looks weak!"
"It's inactive."
Heisenberg replies, tapping the Box with his index finger.
As divine power touches it, the surface ripples like water.
"A single Box can alter matter, convert life to Parademons, and open Boom Tubes.
Matter conversion is like Krypton's gravity particles—like this ship's reshaping particles.
Tables, chairs—all particle-made, right?
Parademon conversion is like a biological virus.
Boom Tubes are like Rainbow Bridges—teleportation."
Heisenberg withdraws his power, and the Box stops moving.
"Three united Boxes create a Trinity.
It'd transform Earth… and us…"
Heisenberg scans the group, then shakes his head.
"Only I could survive that power!
Clark, even you couldn't withstand it!"
He's certain—in the movie, Clark was instantly vaporized.
No exaggeration here.
