Chapter 4: Thunder in the Blood

Chapter 4: Thunder in the Blood

Clang!

Sasuke's sword, covered in crackling Chidori, slammed into Killer Bee's spinning blades. Sparks exploded as lightning met metal.

Bee grinned behind his shades.

"Now that's more like it!

You bringin' sparks—but I ain't feelin' the bite!"

He twisted, spinning three blades at once, and shoved Sasuke back with raw strength.

Sasuke slid across the rocky ground, his sandals grinding dust, but he didn't stop. He dashed forward again—quiet, fast, sharp-eyed.

Their swords clashed again.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

Bee danced with seven swords like he was born with them. One in each hand. One in his elbows. One tucked behind his knees. Another in his armpit. He twisted, flipped, and spun like a storm.

Sasuke's Sharingan kept up with every move—but just barely.

His sword style's crazy… it doesn't follow any rhythm. It's like fighting a blender.

A blade nicked Sasuke's cheek. Another almost cut his ribs.

Tch…

He leapt back, panting quietly.

Then—pop!

A second Sasuke stepped from his shadow.

"Kage no Sasayaki," he muttered.

The clone didn't say a word. It ran in like a phantom.

Bee blinked. "Yo, yo—what the—?"

Clang!

The clone blocked Bee's sword from the side, then dropped low and kicked at his legs.

Bee flipped out of the way mid-air.

"Man, that ain't no regular clone. That thing's got no chill!"

The clone didn't stop. It kept attacking, silent and smooth—like it already knew Bee's next move.

Bee slashed it across the ribs.

No blood. No reaction.

No smoke.

It didn't vanish.

It kept moving.

From the side, Sasuke formed hand signs.

I'm not using Amaterasu yet. First, I want to test my strength—with the shadow clone. If that's not enough… then I'll burn him.

"Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!"

Whoosh—BOOM!

A giant fireball exploded toward Bee, lighting up the whole plateau.

Bee dodged—but the clone met him mid-air and slammed him into the ground.

CRASH!

Rocks cracked. Smoke flew.

"Whew!" Bee coughed. "Y'all Uchiha don't play fair!"

He growled.

Then—BOOM!

Red chakra exploded out of his body. His skin glowed. His teeth sharpened.

A red tail flickered behind him.

Version One Cloak.

On the cliff, Karin stood up fast. "He's using the Eight-Tails chakra now!"

Jūgo's eyes narrowed. "That form… it boosts everything."

Suigetsu scowled. "Tch. Sasuke better not die on us."

Killer Bee Strikes Back

Bee moved like lightning.

"Lariat!"

Sasuke turned—but too slow.

BAM!

A full-speed clothesline slammed into his chest. His body flew backward, smashing into stone.

Crash!

Blood sprayed from his mouth as he hit the ground hard.

The shadow clone jumped in, blocking Bee's next slash.

Sasuke coughed, holding his ribs. They hurt.

One more hit like that and I'm done.

He stood slowly, eyes burning.

The clone fought in his place, silent and sharp.

It slashed at Bee's chest, his arms, his knees—nonstop.

Bee grunted and hit it again.

Still, it didn't vanish.

"That clone's a zombie, man!"

The Battle Gets Faster

Sasuke flashed through hand signs.

"Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu!"

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Multiple small fireballs shot out like bullets.

One clipped Bee's shoulder.

Bee spun out, chakra cloak flickering.

He laughed.

"You're just gettin' started, huh?

Come on, Uchiha—give me that fire!"

Sasuke's clone circled around.

It dropped low, slashing at Bee's ankles.

Bee flipped backward, bouncing off a rock.

He landed on all fours, panting. Steam rose from his skin.

"Alright, alright. Time to go freestyle!"

He charged again.

Clash! Clash!

Sasuke blocked two strikes. His clone blocked one more.

But Bee broke through—smashing the clone in the chest.

The clone flew back, cracked, but still alive.

Sasuke gritted his teeth.

That hit would've killed me. This clone… it's saving my life.

He looked at Bee. The red cloak was stronger now. Two tails flickered.

From the side, Bee chuckled.

"You look tired, emo boy.

Maybe take a nap?"

Sasuke didn't blink.

"I'll rest when you're done breathing."

Bee smirked. "Tough talk!"

He spun both swords and charged again.

Sasuke Responds

"Lightning Style: Chidori Senbon!"

Electric needles flew from Sasuke's hand, sharp and fast.

Bee blocked two, but five hit his cloak.

Sparks flew. Chakra flared.

Sasuke jumped in—blade ready.

CLANG!

Bee blocked.

Sasuke twisted behind him.

"Chidori!"

CRACK!

Lightning slammed into Bee's shoulder.

"Gah!"

Bee flipped back, breathing heavier now.

Sasuke landed, crouched, and waited.

Bee stood up slowly.

Blood ran down his arm.

His grin returned.

"Not bad. I'm bleedin'. That don't happen often."

He raised one finger.

"But I'm still standin', and I'm still rappin'!"

He spun again, blades ready.

Sasuke and the clone stood side by side—swords up, eyes locked.

They didn't speak.

They charged again—one from the front, one from behind.

Clang. Boom. Dash. Dodge. Slash.

It was fast.

It was chaos.

And neither side was backing down.

To be continued.
