I give it four stars because I have problems with the focus of this book, it feels a lot like an AI story, I have asked AI stories and read them, and I get the same feelings here, the mc's curse is a plot twist after plot twist, it feels like a never ending, the appearance of all the characters were done as if they have already been given a proper introduction before, which we all know the characters from the series, of course. But here, the originals already exist and live in new orleans, Bonnie already does magic it feels rushed, like trying to get this story over in about 20 or 30 chapters leaving behind the introduction of other characters behind, it feels rush and bland. I'm not an expret, obviously, I could never make a good book myself so far, but I know a bit. the book has potential, but we need explanations of the developments that are happening fast, there is no background, the book is going straight to the point.
the novel is amazing the writing . the story development and everything else is amazing yes the first chapter is a little bit off but after that it's a good novel
