Remember to Breathe

Growing up a little bit different than others, Rue always felt out of the ordinary. Now finally out on her own, she attempts to make friends, but she can never have a permanent one. They always seem to "reset", always the day after she interacts with them. The truth behind it is that everyone in this world, except for Rue, forgets every bit of declarative info they may have learned throughout the day. While they may still keep their motor functions and muscle memory, such as riding a bike or walking, they wouldn't KNOW that per se. Even stranger to Rue, she keeps encountering, or rather noticing this man that might lead to a deeper, darker world than she ever knew.
