Training [2]

After breakfast, while Yu Changming took Yu Xuan away for his own grueling experience, Huan Lianhua gently took Yu Lingluo by the hand and led her toward her residence.

They walked down a tranquil path lined with white-blossom trees, the petals drifting lazily through the air like soft illusions. The air shimmered faintly, enchanted by layers of ambient spiritual energy.

Unlike Yu Changming's realm of stone, steel, and stern silence, Huan Lianhua's domain felt softer… warmer.

More deceptive.

Eventually, they arrived at an open-air pavilion — the place where Huan Lianhua often trained.

The circular space was surrounded by shimmering veils of light, glowing like heatwaves under the morning sun.

The marble beneath their feet was engraved with moon-phase patterns, each tile subtly glowing as they stepped across them.

Yu Lingluo had been here before — many times, watching her mother dance across the moon tiles with flowing grace while dozens of illusionary mirror-images moved in perfect synchrony.

Back then, she thought it was the most beautiful thing she'd ever seen.

Her mother turned to her, eyes glimmering like starlight over still water.

"Listen, Lingluo. Your training will be different from your brother's. In fact… it may be more difficult."

"Really?" Lingluo perked up, puffing her chest, she thought 'Because I'm older?'

Huan Lianhua raised an eyebrow, reading her daughter's thoughts with ease.

Lingluo froze. "Wait… Mom, are you doing mind-reading again?"

Lianhua chuckled. "Well, yes. But that's not the point."

She knelt in front of Lingluo, smoothing a stray lock of silver hair behind her ear.

"You and your brother are both special. Xuan'er has a remarkably sharp mind for his age. But you… you carry something else. A gift."

"A gift?" Lingluo's eyes sparkled. "Do I get a sword?"

"Even better," her mother said, smiling. "You have a heavenly physique."

Lingluo gasped. "WHAT?! I have a heavenly physique?! Which one?! Tell me, tell me!"

Lianhua tilted her head. "First, tell me what you know about heavenly physiques."

Lingluo puffed her cheeks and thought hard. "Heavenly physiques are, um, rare… and make you stronger than your peers because you're blessed by the heavens!"

"And?"

"…That's it?"

Lianhua sighed, fondly. "Close enough."

She continued, her tone more serious. "Have you ever felt… stronger than you should be?"

"Sometimes I feel like I could punch a mountain," Lingluo said without hesitation.

"You're nearing your awakening. That's to be expected," her mother nodded. "The name of your physique is the Absolute Chaos Physique. It's a celestial-grade constitution."

Lingluo blinked. "Celestial? I thought Immortal Physiques were the strongest!"

"That's what most believe," her mother said gently. "But above Immortal-grade… there is Celestial grade, almost no one in the lower realms has them. Even in the Immortal Realms, they're scarce."

Lingluo stood there, dazed.

"Wow…" Lingluo was baffled. Celestial? Immortal? Her little brain could not handle the weight of this information. She looked dazed.

"That sounds… really important."

"It is," Lianhua said, placing a hand on her shoulder. "But don't let it overwhelm you. For now, let's focus on awakening it fully. That will be your training."

"Does it involve swords?"

"No."

"…Kicks?"

"No."

"…Throwing rocks?"

"Maybe."

"Cool."

Lianhua smiled and gestured for her to follow.

They walked to the center of the pavilion.

"Let's focus on your training. It will mainly consist of awakening your physique, so it will mostly be physical work. But you should maintain mental peace for this." her mother said, guiding her into position for the first step of her training.

Huan Lianhua demonstrated a simple stance — one where Lingluo would have to focus all her mental energy into calming her thoughts while maintaining tha stance.

It was a difficult balance, one that took time to master.

"First, close your eyes," Huan Lianhua instructed softly. "Focus on your breath. Breathe in deeply, hold for a moment, and exhale slowly. Feel your body relax with each breath."

Lingluo obeyed, shutting her eyes and trying to settle her mind.

But it wasn't easy.

Her thoughts fluttered around like butterflies, unsure of which direction to go.

"Clear your mind of distractions." her mother said, her voice like a gentle breeze.

Lingluo, with her mother's guidance, slowly began to feel a shift.

Her heart slowed. Her thoughts calmed. And for the first time in her life, she felt truly connected to something greater than herself.

"Good," Huan Lianhua whispered. "Now, let's begin the physical part."

Lingluo's body would have to undergo a series of intense physical training exercises.

The Absolute Chaos Physique needed to be awakened and refined.

Her mother guided her through movement drills, starting with simple stretches.

It wasn't just about flexibility but also aligning her physical movements.

Every motion was deliberate, every breath calculated.

Hours passed, and Lingluo felt the strain in her body, but also a growing sense of power. Her limbs felt lighter with each stretch.

"Remember, Lingluo," her mother said after a long session, "your power lies in your ability to control. Strength is not just in your body, but in your control. Patience is the key."

Lingluo nodded, already feeling her muscles screaming in protest.

But something in her stirred — something primal and untamable.

She was ready to face the trials ahead, to awaken her true potential. The path to greatness had begun.

"Let's take a break," her mother suggested, giving her a comforting smile. "You've done well for today."

Lingluo, still feeling the fire inside her, smiled back. "I won't stop, Mom. Not until I've fully awakened."

And so, under the watchful eyes of her mother, Lingluo's training continued, each day bringing her closer to realizing her celestial potential.
