Little Report.

"Are you telling me that a fifteen-year-old boy cut off Daeva's arm?" said the man, reading a report while seated at a desk — a desk upon which rested the two severed arms of the Beast-Fiend. The room was filled with books of all kinds, with piles of documents stacked in one corner.

"Yes, Commander," replied Antony de Montese, a bald man with a scar across his face.

"Have we overestimated the demon lords?" the man muttered, lowering the report and revealing his pale skin, golden eyes, and matching hair.

"It says here that you pursued him to the border, correct?"

"Y-yes, sir," Antony answered, sweat trickling down his shiny head.

"But we lost his trail a few kilometers before the frontier."

The man brought one hand to his face, thoughtful.

"Lost the trail before the border? Strange. Could they have discovered a way to bypass the magic barrier? Impossible. It blocks even the mages' teleportation."

"Very well. You may go," ordered the commander.

"Yes, Commander Nikitich." Antony turned and exited through the wooden door behind him.

He walked through the corridors of the Knights of Aurora's headquarters, lost in thought.

Maybe I should've written in the report that both arms were cut off by surprise attacks...

No, considering he was a lord, it's an achievement in itself.

The nine Demon Lords — Limbo, Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Heresy, Wrath, Violence, Fraud, and Treachery — remain a mystery in this world.

It's said they were the first to appear, coming directly from the infernal circles.

However, so far, only four are known: Axov of Gluttony, Dolos of Fraud, Daeva of Violence, and Sinope of Heresy — and even then, no reliable information exists about their territories or whereabouts.

"At least now I'm on vacation," Antony muttered, clasping his hands behind his head as he whistled, happy to have finally earned his well-deserved break.
