Chapter 055: The Golden Spear Descends from the Sky!

On the Navy warships, the sudden tremors from the sea caused many marines to lose their footing.

"Is this some kind of enemy tactic?"

"No, something seems to be emerging from beneath the sea!"

Even seasoned Navy Vice Admirals like Momonga were taken aback as they stared at the massive whirlpool forming on the ocean's surface.

Meanwhile, Lin Xuan had already activated his Sharingan, keenly observing the underwater scene and analyzing the flow of the currents. He directed Uchiha Madara and the others to adjust the position of their small boat, intending to ride the rising current and shoot into the sky.

Standing on the warship, Admiral Aokiji noticed their movements and suddenly paled, shouting, "Not good! They're trying to escape!"

"What?!"

The other Navy officers were stunned. They wanted to intercept Lin Xuan and his group, but the turbulent sea made it impossible—their ships were rocking violently, and just staying upright was a challenge, let alone launching an attack.

The massive whirlpool spun rapidly, churning the ocean into a frenzy. Some even spotted Sea Kings struggling to break free from the water, only to be dragged back into the vortex, sending chills down their spines.

If they got caught in that, they might not make it out alive!

On Jaya Island, spectators watching through telescopes were baffled as the well-organized Navy forces suddenly descended into chaos.

They were familiar with the concept of an upward current, but no one expected it to appear so conveniently—right when the Navy had surrounded the wanted criminals! It almost seemed like divine intervention was aiding Lin Xuan's group!

Meanwhile, Montblanc Cricket stared intently at the accumulating storm clouds above, muttering to himself, "The clouds are converging toward the center of the whirlpool… The scale of this current is enormous. If Sky Island truly exists, they might actually reach it!"

As soon as he finished speaking, he saw Lin Xuan's small boat get sucked into the whirlpool, rapidly approaching its center.

To the Navy's disbelief, despite being on the verge of being dragged into the depths, Lin Xuan and his crew showed no fear—only excitement.

What was going on?

Did they have a death wish?

Or was there some secret about this whirlpool?

The marines were filled with confusion.

At that moment, Aokiji decisively ordered, "Enter the whirlpool!"

"What?!"

Vice Admirals like Momonga gaped at him, wondering if they had misheard.

Aokiji's expression was grave as he explained, "Whether Lin Xuan and the other two live or die doesn't matter, but there are three Celestial Dragons on that boat! We cannot let anything happen to them under our watch!"

Hearing this, the others realized the gravity of the situation. If the Celestial Dragons perished in front of them, the consequences would be dire.

Aokiji added, "Besides, I refuse to believe they came here just to die. There must be something special about this current!"

With no other choice, the crew of his warship gritted their teeth and steered the bow toward the whirlpool, swiftly getting pulled in.

However, Aokiji didn't order all the ships to follow—the remaining vessels quickly retreated from the whirlpool, staying outside to provide support.

As both sides neared the center of the vortex, the distance between them shrank until they were practically face-to-face.

Aboard the warship, Aokiji and the others prepared to strike, seeing the chaos as the perfect opportunity to rescue the Celestial Dragons.

But just then, Aokiji noticed Lin Xuan smirking at him from the small boat before shouting, "Aokiji, you picked the worst time to chase us! I guarantee—you'll regret this!"

The moment his words faded, the whirlpool suddenly stilled.

Then, the center of the vortex began rising unnaturally, as if a furious dragon were surging upward from the depths.

The next instant—

BOOM!!!

A colossal pillar of water, nearly a kilometer in diameter, erupted vertically from the sea, shooting straight into the sky!

The sight was so overwhelming that it left everyone in shock.

"What in the world?!"

"How is this possible?!"

"Aaaah—!"

Screams erupted from both the Navy and the onlookers on Jaya Island. Even the battle-hardened high-ranking Navy officers were momentarily paralyzed by the spectacle.

Before they could recover, they realized their warship was being carried upward by the current—already a thousand meters in the air and still climbing at an accelerating speed!

The abrupt shift in orientation sent many tumbling, some crashing into the ship's structures.

Vice Admiral Momonga barely avoided being flung overboard by clinging to the railing. Glancing downward, his pupils shrank in terror, and he swallowed hard.

"Falling from this height… even surviving would leave us crippled!"

Just as he spoke, another Vice Admiral yelled in alarm, "Look out! What are they doing?!"

Everyone turned their attention to the small boat ahead of them.

What they saw next horrified them.

Lin Xuan stepped forward, his body enveloped in a golden aura that rapidly expanded into a towering golden giant over a hundred meters tall.

With a thunderous roar, the giant raised a massive spear and thrust it downward—straight at the Navy warship!

"Get down from here!!!"
