"You sure know how to make an entrance," I said dryly as Lilith sauntered into my room uninvited.

Her eyes darted to the shattered vase on the floor, a smirk playing on her lips. "Temper tantrum? How mature."

I crossed my arms over my chest. "What do you want, Lilith? I'm not really in the mood for your games right now."

She circled the room like a predator, trailing her fingers over my dresser. "I know what you're doing, Seraphina."

"And what exactly am I doing?" I kept my voice neutral despite the warning bells ringing in my head.

Lilith stopped and fixed me with a hard stare. "This whole memory loss act. It's pathetic."
