The Confrontation

Evening – Sterling Enterprises, 32nd Floor

The sun had set, leaving the city bathed in glowing amber and shadows. From the towering glass windows of the Sterling Enterprises building, the skyline glittered like a kingdom of ambition. But inside the Chairman's office, the lights were dim — and the air heavy with anticipation.

On the giant wall screen, the Reaper project headlines had faded, replaced now by something far more serious.

Surveillance footage.

Miles stood in front of the screen, arms crossed, his silhouette reflected against the glass behind him. The screen flickered—grainy security feed from a recently acquired company's internal archives.

Behind him, June stood with her eyes fixed on the footage.

"Boss, the news is out. The bait's spreading. But how exactly do we trap them?" she asked.

Miles didn't turn to face her. Instead, he raised a finger and tapped a command on the remote.
