Chapter 20: Eliminating Vampires

Kakashi Hatake stood before a master sorcerer who was the one that gave the sorcerers of Kamar Taj their missions.

His first mission was simple: eliminate a vampire coven in London, UK, preying on the city's nightlife.

Kakashi first wanted to know what vampires are. He dived into Kamar-Taj's library to study the creatures.

In short, he figured out that Vampires were fast, strong, regenerative, allergic to sunlight, silver, and decapitation. It was something that he could easily deal with. He just had to avoid anyone biting him.

The sorcerer, a stern woman named Master Crumm, raised her hands, conjuring a golden portal that shimmered with the skyline of London's Southbank. She knew that Kakashi was not a Sorcerer and thus could not have a way to go to London.

"The coven operates from a nightclub called Crimson Pulse," she said, her voice crisp. "Neutralize them discreetly. No collateral damage."

He already had placed a seal in his room in Kamar Taj that would let him teleport back here. If he had a seal placed in London, he could have teleported there on his own.

That's right he finally figured to teleport long distances using his Kamui with the help of flying raijin principles.

The seal was his latest creation, an anchor for Kamui that let him teleport to its location across vast distances, even dimensions as long as there is a seal for him to lock on to.

He knew Obito could teleport short ranges with Kamui but he did not know if he used it to teleport Long distances, he never got the chance to ask. But Kakashi was pretty sure that Obito teleported miles away using his Kamui but Kakashi did not know how he managed to do it. Kakashi thought that it was because his mastery of Kamui was much less than Obito who literally spammed the ability.

The seal marked his room at Kamar-Taj, ensuring he could return no matter where the mission took him.

He stepped through the portal, the cool London night hitting him like a wave.

---

Lucius, a vampire with chiseled features and pale skin, savored the moment, his red eyes glinting as he led his "guest" down the stairs of the nightclub.

The woman on his arm was stunning, her neck an inviting canvas for his fangs.

'Fresh blood tonight,' he thought, caressing her skin, his wine glass—filled with blood, not wine—left behind at the bar. "Let's go somewhere we won't be disturbed, beautiful," he purred, his voice smooth as silk.

"Where are we going, baby?" she asked, her tone curious but unafraid.

Lucius smirked, ignoring her question as they descended. The basement door creaked shut, and he turned, his fangs bared. "Time to feed, boys," he called, his voice echoing.

Red eyes flared in the darkness, six vampires emerging from the shadows, their hungry expressions fixed on the woman. Lucius anticipated her scream, her terror—his favorite appetizer—but her face remained calm, almost amused, as if he were a harmless pet.

"Why aren't you terrified, human?" he demanded, his confidence wavering.

Her lips curved into a smirk. "I think you've got it wrong. It's not me who should be terrified—it's you." With a puff of smoke, the woman vanished, replaced by Kakashi Hatake, his silver hair stark against the gloom, his tanto in hand.

Lightning chakra crackled along the blade.

Lucius froze, shock etched into his pale face. "What the—" His words cut off as Kakashi moved, his Mangekyou Sharingan spinning, the world slowing in his enhanced vision.

While he could deal with these targets without his Sharingan, he needed the practice to use it whenever the situation demanded it if he wanted to increase his mastery over his Mangekyou sharingan. After all, there was no drawbacks of using them now, no blindness and no immense chakra requirement.

The vampire's speed was impressive—faster than a chunin—but to Kakashi, he was a lumbering target.

The tanto flashed, lightning chakra searing the air, and Lucius's head rolled across the floor, his body collapsing in a heap.

'One down.'

The remaining vampires roared, their fangs gleaming as they lunged. Kakashi's Sharingan tracked their movements, each attack telegraphed in slow motion.

A female vampire leaped from the ceiling, aiming to sink her fangs into his neck, but Kakashi phased through her with Kamui, her claws passing harmlessly through his intangible form.

He reappeared behind her, his tanto slashing upward, severing her head with a burst of lightning.

'No regeneration for you.' The chakra-infused blade cauterized the wounds, its electric surge disrupting the vampires' supernatural healing, a trick he'd theorized from his studies. Lightning fries their cells.

Two vampires charged from the left, their claws extended. Kakashi spun, "You're fast," he said, his tone casual, "but not fast enough." His blade cleaved through their necks, lightning crackling as their bodies hit the ground. 'Three, four.'

The last two vampires hesitated, their red eyes darting between their fallen kin and the masked man. "What are you?" one hissed, his voice trembling.

Kakashi's eye crinkled, his voice dry. "Just a guy on a job." He flickered forward, his Body Flicker Technique a blur, and beheaded them before they could react. The basement fell silent, save for the faint drip of blood on concrete. 'Six down. Clean sweep.'

He knelt, unsealing a storage scroll from his pouch. 'I can't burn them here. It would cause too much smoke and I have been asked to be discrete.'

One by one, he sealed the bodies, their forms vanishing into the scroll's kanji with a puff of chakra. He scanned the room, his Sharingan confirming no stragglers. 'Mission complete.'

Transforming back into the woman, Kakashi adjusted his henge, smoothing the red dress. He ascended the stairs, slipping into the nightclub's pulsing crowd. The music thumped, oblivious dancers swaying under neon lights. He weaved through them, his feminine guise drawing a few appreciative glances, and exited into the London night.

He found a secluded alley as he disappeared with a swirl and he reappeared in his Kamar-Taj room, the familiar scent of incense grounding him.

'This world sure is a unique and a big one than my previous one. In the elemental nations, We did not have contact with any other continent outside of ours. Heck, We did not even know how many continents existed. Here, there are seven continents, all knowing the existence of each other and in contact with each other.' Kakashi thought

'Not only that, We mostly had humans, animals, summoning beasts, tailed beasts and some demons in our world. Here we have Gods, Demons, Sorcerers, Ninja, Humans, Vampires, Werewolves, Spirits. Heck, Kamar Taj is in contact with other dimensions too. The more I think about it, the more I realise how small our world was in the grand scheme of things.' Kakashi sighed at that thought.
