I don't know about you, but I saw 'Food' and expected FOOD. There are more sex scenes than actual cooking. Or maybe half and half? I'm just disappointed at the lack of food, don't mind me. On a serious note, the story isn't bad. Slightly explicit but not quite Mature content. MC does use his brain, perhaps puts it in overdrive. He is a chef, so I really expected more dishes... Post-apocalyptic, survival story with a food god system to aid in his survival. Check it out..
While the story itself is interesting and has unique and engaging elements, the rampant racism and sexism thoroughly detract from any potential quality the story could have presented. These elements could all easily be removed without damaging the story, making it a clear choice by the author. It is especially anti-black, though anyone not of eastern descent is deemed "lowly" in this writing. Reader Beware.
don't mind what they say this book is very good and I think we all already know that I just wish I could be able to give six stars 🌟
has sexist views baked into the story. The abusive and sexist views are justified as it's the apocalypse but I find them distasteful. If you don't mind that then the story is kinda good. Could use less sex though
I both like and dislike this story due to a number of reasons. Firstly what the story did well: engaging to the audience (captures attention and keeps it), fresh-ish idea (wasteland food done before add a spin of powers, add some sort of strange romantic engagement). things not done so well: romance seems to be lacking just a series of infatuation, characters are given little to no descriptions most characters are even just left blank, Grammer seems to be hit and miss (I know ironic coming from me, I understand English is not easy), worst of all is characters get mixed up an example would be at one point a friendly character is given a gender change and suddenly becomes an enemy on the opposite side of the room while at the same time that said character I still standing behind the MC as an ally and has no speaking parts in the last 2 chapters or the next 4 how you can mix people up is just beyond me. Overall I would like to recommend this novel, but can't until the author is able to correct his chacters. after all what can you expect from a story when the author cannot keep their own characters in check with who is who.
I really liked the story. it was a new Direction loved all the political drama with the comedy elements great character development and world building great job author 👏🏻 please publish more chapters it's been a month since last chapter
If there is one thing I’ve learned reading 30+ chapters is that the author really doesn’t like black people. Everyone else gets a name but not the black man. Black men are painted as traitor and muscled meatheads with no ability for deep thinking and the black women are thought of as disgusting and unattractive. My ppl, this novel isn’t for us so save your coins, fps, time and energy.
Good idea for a story, yet overall I don't care for escorts which is apart of my lower score. Just a personal opinion. The big reason I rate lower is the constant term "black man" when you have given a name to them but revert to that term at every opportunity. It feels very repetitive and lacking in ability.
