Chapter 58: Why Is This So Difficult?

The setting sun cast its lingering light, painting the sky with a dazzling, bright orange-red hue. Rows of seagulls cried out joyfully in the air, flapping their wings as they flew by, as if escorting the day into twilight.

At the entrance of the three-story garden villa at 136 Center Street, two familiar silhouettes appeared. Boa Marigold and Boa Sandersonia, the two young women, struggled to push open the iron gate, their hands full of bags of groceries, and walked into the villa's front yard.

When they both reached the main door of the villa, they found the mahogany door slightly ajar. With a gentle push of their bodies, the door swung open, inviting them inside.

"Huh?! Sephiroth, you're back?" A glimmer of surprise flashed in Sandersonia's eyes. She stared in wonder at the silver-haired youth who was currently lounging on the long sofa, holding a cigar, his face showing a lazy expression as if he had just been contemplating such a peaceful life.

"Oh, you two~! Sandersonia, Marigold," Sephiroth greeted, his voice slightly hoarse yet pleasant. He remained sprawled on the long sofa, weakly waving his hand at the two beautiful young women, not moving an inch.

"Sephiroth, are you not feeling well? Your voice sounds a bit strange?" Marigold asked with a worried expression, stepping closer.

"No, I'm fine. I'm great. My mood is good, and my mind is clearer than ever," the silver-haired youth replied, smiling and waving his hand, as if dismissing their concerns. In truth, he simply didn't want to use his Devil Fruit ability to restore his stamina—after the afternoon's "activities," he just wanted to lie there and do nothing, savoring the lingering exhaustion.

After the two women placed the ingredients they had brought in the kitchen, Sandersonia looked around the first floor, her eyes searching for their third sister, but finding no sign of Boa Hancock. So, she asked Sephiroth, who was still lying on the sofa, "Where's Big Sister? Where did she go? She said she was in charge of cleaning, but I see the kitchen doesn't seem to have been cleaned yet..."

"Uh?! Hancock... she's tired, not feeling well, sleeping and resting in bed," the silver-haired youth replied, scratching his head, his tone sounding a bit odd, slightly faltering.

"Never mind! Don't talk about that. What do you two want to eat tonight? I'll make it for you!" Sephiroth quickly changed the subject, a faint blush creeping onto his face.

"Really?" Hearing that, Marigold immediately abandoned her intention to ask further about her sister, her eyes sparkling, and began enthusiastically listing dishes, "Crispy fried calamari balls, sweet and sour fish, garlic ribs... slurp! I like anything Sephiroth makes."

"Sandersonia, what do you want to eat?" Sephiroth turned to look at the green-haired young woman beside Marigold.

"Huh? Never mind, what Marigold listed is enough..." Sandersonia sighed softly, covering her forehead with her hand, a wry smile on her lips. She lamented in her heart that her sister was becoming increasingly gluttonous!

Sephiroth nodded, a faint smile playing on his lips, and placed the almost finished cigar in the ashtray. He stood up, stretched lazily, used his Devil Fruit ability to recover a little stamina, then hummed a light tune and walked into the kitchen, beginning to busy himself.

"Hehehe! I'll help you!" Marigold giggled and came to help him prepare the ingredients, enthusiastically speeding up the cooking.

Sandersonia went upstairs to the second floor and gently pushed open the bedroom door, careful not to disturb anyone. She found Boa Hancock sleeping soundly on the bed, lying on her side, a blanket covering part of her body.

The black-haired young woman shifted slightly, changing her position, and the blanket slipped from her beautiful, fragrant shoulder, revealing a bit of her skin. Upon seeing Boa Hancock's beautiful sleeping face up close, the green-haired young woman's heart pounded uncontrollably, a sense of admiration enveloping her.

My sister is so cute, why didn't I notice it before!? Sandersonia shook her head, dismissing the strange thoughts in her mind, and quickly closed the door softly. She turned to walk towards the kitchen on the first floor, feeling reluctant to disturb her sister's deep sleep. She would go downstairs to help Sephiroth prepare dinner.

Thanks to his newly improved physical condition and the help of the two young women, Sephiroth's cooking efficiency was much higher than before. He made eighteen delicious dishes in just one hour and served them on the dining table, the aroma of the food spreading throughout the room.

The tantalizing scent of the food continuously teased Marigold and Sandersonia, making their gluttonous stomachs rumble. Every now and then they would reach for a plate with their hands, grab some food, and eat one or two bites, unable to wait.

Sephiroth couldn't help but laugh at the sight of the two beautiful young women salivating over the food, their expressions pure delight.

"You two eat first! I'll call Hancock," he said, standing from his seat.

"Okay! Okay!" "Go, go!"

The two young women nodded repeatedly, their eyes sparkling. After getting his permission, they finally stopped holding back their desire to eat the delicious food, immediately grabbed chopsticks, and began to devour the meal, their eating manners utterly uncivilized, yet adorable.

Sephiroth went upstairs to the second floor, pushed open the bedroom door, and approached Boa Hancock's bed. He reached out and gently touched Boa's shoulder.

"Sephiroth~! Hancock is so tired, let Hancock rest first~!" Hancock whined, her voice hoarse from just waking up.

"Don't sleep yet, wake up and eat! I've made many dishes," Sephiroth coaxed, his smile gentle.

"Hmm~? Eat?" Boa Hancock reached out and touched her smooth lower abdomen, which rumbled with hunger. Hunger immediately overcame her drowsiness. She instantly brightened.

"Oh! Eat! Eat! Hancock loves the food Sephiroth makes most." As she spoke, the black-haired young woman cheered, pushed away the blanket, and jumped out of bed, her eyes sparkling with cheerfulness.

"Huh?! Sephiroth, why is your nose bleeding...?" Hancock suddenly noticed, pointing at Sephiroth's nose.

Hearing that, the silver-haired youth, who had been hit by an accidental "charm" impact, looked slightly surprised. He raised his right hand and touched the bright red blood flowing from his nose.

"It's nothing, I've just been a little... excited lately..." Sephiroth replied, trying to compose himself, his face slightly red. As he spoke, he turned, his body slightly bent. He covered his nose and quickly exited the bedroom, saying in a somewhat muffled voice, "Hurry and get dressed, then come down to eat. Otherwise, Marigold and Sandersonia will finish all the food."

Damn it! Boa Hancock's charm is truly powerful, even if... I'm going to die soon! Sephiroth grumbled inwardly, a mix of annoyance and awe. He pulled a handkerchief from his pocket, wiped his nose, and composed himself before walking to the dining table and sitting down.

After a short while, Boa Hancock, who had changed into a high-slit purple qipao, slowly walked down from the second floor, each step radiating a different aura.

"Big Sister, you look even more beautiful!" Marigold exclaimed spontaneously. Seeing the stunning beauty of the black-haired young woman, she couldn't even hold her chopsticks, which then fell onto the dining table with a small "clatter."

"Yes! It feels like we only went shopping for half a day, and Big Sister became much more beautiful," Sandersonia also commented with a soft sigh, her eyes filled with admiration.

After eating the Mero Mero no Mi, Boa Hancock's charm reached an outrageous level, attracting the attention of almost everyone, regardless of age or gender, from eighty-year-olds to three-year-olds. Those with weak wills or pure hearts would unconsciously develop feelings of admiration for her in their hearts, almost as if hypnotized.

"Hehe! This is all thanks to Sephiroth. He gave me a Devil Fruit, that's why I became more beautiful..." The black-haired young woman smiled sweetly, her smile now capable of melting ice. Then she hugged the silver-haired young man's left arm, causing his body to stiffen slightly and his right hand's movement of picking up food with chopsticks to halt.

Hearing that, Sandersonia immediately pouted, a cute jealousy appearing on her face. She too moved closer to Sephiroth, hugging his right arm, and said in a spoiled tone, "Nah~! I want to eat a Devil Fruit like that too~!"

Sephiroth could only remain silent, his expression frozen. His lips slightly parted, he swallowed hard, as if he had just consumed something bitter. His eyes widened slightly, enveloped in a combination of shock, confusion, and a hint of comical despair. He found himself flanked by the double charm of the Boa sisters.

He just wanted to eat in peace, why was it so difficult...? Sephiroth sighed inwardly.
