As above, so below

Kúr'Gal, Deep Archives, Ki'Gal, Hollow Earth

The group continued their advance through the vast and silent galleries of Kúr'Gal, Enlil's palace-citadel. The holographic projections of the Moon Elves' conquest had vanished, leaving an echo of sadness and brutality in the air. Enki was now leading them to even older sections of the archives, those detailing the very founding of Ki'Gal.

As they reviewed the records—perhaps now more focused on Anunnaki geological surveys and subterranean resource analyses—Elena Rossi made an observation. "It's curious, Enki. Projections of Moon Elven culture showed extensive use of resonance crystals, moonstones, and what appeared to be forms of sympathetic magic with bioluminescent flora and fauna. Yet the records of the Anunnaki occupation barely mention the exploitation of these resources. They seem to have considered them... irrelevant."

Enki nodded. "Correct, Dr. Rossi. The Moon Elves' primary resources—their moonstone that channeled ethereal energies, their memory crystals that vibrated with song and emotion, their magic intrinsically tied to the cycles of a subterranean moon we never fully knew—though beautiful and potent in their own unique ways, were largely incompatible with Anunnaki technology. Our science is based on the manipulation of transmuted heavy metals, zero-point energy drawn from controlled singularities, direct genetic engineering, and high-frequency quartz crystal resonance. To Enlil's pragmatic, efficiency-oriented mindset, Elven resources were, for the most part, exotic curiosities, not strategic assets for building a subterranean empire."

It was then, as they examined a three-dimensional geological map of the Hollow Earth of astonishing scale, that Aria felt a strange new vibration. It wasn't the pressure of Cthulhu, nor the chaotic energy of Nyx, nor even the pure resonance of Gaia that he had begun to perceive. It was something else, something deeply buried, immensely powerful, and with a quality that felt both alien and strangely familiar.

"I feel... something," Aria murmured, frowning, the emerald and golden light of her magic intensifying around her hands. "A vibration. Deep. Far, far below us, even Ki'Gal's. It's immensely powerful. And it feels... somehow, it resonates with the energy emanating from you, Enki, but it's much more... raw, more concentrated, like the heart of a star."

Enki stopped abruptly, his own sensitive Anunnaki instruments (or perhaps his own innate perception) picking up what Aria was describing. He accessed Ki'Gal's deep-core sensors, and his golden eyes widened with a disbelief he rarely showed.

"By the breath of Anu..." he exhaled. "It's unmistakable! The tachyon resonance pattern... the subquantum harmonics... It's almost identical to the energetic signature of the core of our homeworld, Nibiru! How is this possible? A source of such power, so deeply nestled within the bowels of Gaia?"

He remembered then, with a new and terrifying clarity, the Ice Dome they had passed through to enter Ki'Gal, that cyclopean barrier Enlil had so ceremoniously opened. "The Ice Dome..." he said, his mind connecting the dots at dizzying speed. "It was no mere natural barrier, no prison for the Moon Elves. It is a seal! A geodesic lens! It must contain or focus access to this deep Nibiruan energy source, hidden at the very heart of this planet!"

Merlin, who had been listening with a concentration that seemed to absorb every word, every vibration, nodded slowly. His eyes, which had seen the birth and death of countless ages, shone with the light of transcendental understanding.

"As Above, so Below," he murmured, the words of the Emerald Tablet of Hermes Trismegistus echoing in the chamber with a new and ominous weight. "The macrocosm reflected in the microcosm. If Nibiru, your Anunnaki homeworld, possesses a core of such power and resonance, why not Gaia, its planetary sister in this system, albeit in its most secret and forgotten depths? Two worlds, perhaps born from the same primordial nebula, sharing a secret energetic signature, a cosmic umbilical cord."

The old mage swept his gaze over the group, over the astonished faces of Aria, Kaelen, Elena, Quetzal, and even the stoic Kael'Thara. "All this knowledge that is being revealed to us in these depths," Merlin continued, his voice tinged with wonder and awe, "the genetic manipulation of humanity by the Anunnaki, the existence of star gods like the Netlin and the Great Old Ones, the cosmic wars that ravaged Lyra itself, the existence of the Anunnaki, the existence of the Netherworld

The existence of this Hollow Earth and its forgotten realms, the primordial energies that slumber beneath our feet... it is all a vast and terrible tapestry of correspondences. The arrogance of your race, Enki, in shaping humanity, is an echo of the way the Netlin seek to impose their 'Order' on the entire universe. The awakening of Cthulhu from the abyssal depths is a dark reflection of the creative power that also lies, as we have just discovered, at the very heart of the worlds."

His eyes shone with the light of epiphany. "'That which is below is like that which is above, and that which is above is like that which is below, to perform the miracles of one thing,'" he quoted again. "We are witnessing, I fear, the unfolding of that 'one thing,' that fundamental and terrible truth, in its most grandiose and dangerous form." The very structure of reality, from the core of the planets to the heart of the galaxies, is interconnected by these energies, these principles."

"And it was here," Enki concluded, his voice now charged with the full understanding of his brother's ambition, "beside this passage sealed by the Ice Dome, leading toward the energetic heart of Gaia that resonates with our own lost home, and upon the ruins of an elven people who could not and would not resist him, that Enlil built his new and most secret fortress, Ki'Gal. It was not merely a refuge from the wars of the surface or the purges of Anu. It was an attempt to access, to control, perhaps even to claim a source of power that could rival that of Nibiru itself. A power to remake the Anunnaki empire in their own terrible image."

The "new world" they had discovered upon passing the Ice Dome, Enlil's citadel, was now revealed not only as a marvel of Anunnaki engineering, but as a strategic fortress built at the very mouth of an unimaginable power, a power that resonated with the heart of their race and that Enlil undoubtedly planned to use in the cosmic war now consuming Earth. The Hollow Earth held secrets far deeper and more dangerous than anyone had suspected.
