The Aetherbound Chronicle: Fragments of Self

In a cosmically adjusted universe governed by the omnipresent Aetherbound System, where souls are variables and existence a quantifiable game, there is one anomaly that ripples. Kael, a reformed man, is born again with broken memories and a recalcitrant glint of knowledge that cannot be suppressed. He is a Soul Fragment, a leftover from the "Unbound" times, who has to play a game he rebels against at instinctual levels.



With the humble Wayfarer class, Kael discovers himself to be graced with latent martial skills and a primal connection to the raw, uncooked forces of Eldoria—the Aether-flow. Transcending System classification, he forges old Wuxia-like arts, his battered sword converted into an instrument of power divorced from stats. In him pulses the Dragon Heart, a bestial wellspring of unyielding will, driving him to confront much greater challenges than his supposed level.



From the still recesses of rebirth grottos to the whispered secrets of ancient forests, Kael battles not only great monsters, but the very fabric of his own existence. He searches not only for levels and loot, but for truths to the whispers of a lost world that exists outside the System's pretty illusions. With a resolute iron will, he embarks on a perilous journey of discovery, revolution, and personal redemption, bent on forging his own destiny in a world where martial arts are synonymous with magic, and the greatest fight is against the limits of fate itself.
